ca_gere
Yeah, sorry I should explain I dont think anything of what you said was hipster in the slightest, it was just my biased mind that thought that way. I need to sort out my life an start working on apps rather than the pish I do. I commend you on your work, hope the app does well and I, honestly, wish I was I. Your position (except the 80 hour days etc)haha, yeah I didn't take any offense. Obviously. Making apps is surprisingly easy to do on your own, you should get involved. Jaaakkkeee
My saturday has been spent doing a review which I've just finished. Fuck knows what I'm doing tonight. But I hope it involves a shit load of carbs.
Paranoid Android
People coming round to the flat warming in a couple of hours. I feel like I shouldn't have spent all afternoon drinking on the beach.
Chris
Called out at 12pm. Now it's 7.30pm and I'm in the office after staring at a company laptop for most of the afternoon. Fun times.

Murrr
I played Rome: Total War on a 36" television last night and woke up covered in bitches this morning. Coincidence? I think not.
Jaaakkkeee
I felt dead after that mammoth practice. I even laid down at one point and gave up. The only reason I even held the bass was so I looked semi interested. Hate feeling like that. Never again.
The Milner
you did look ill by that point, i felt sorry for you!
Jaaakkkeee
I need to bring two basses. One heavy, one light that I can use when i get tired.
Flights
You need to man up! Me and Milner went hame and blasted folk on Halo 3. You should play jake....
Jaaakkkeee
You need to jump around like I do. Do it for 4 hours then try and play your lame-ass halo. nerds.
Adam Easy Wishes
Is it a Fender bass you play? Heavy as fuck.
Jaaakkkeee
Yeah, well, squire. Super heavy. Good though. And if I only practice for 2 or 3 hours in one day it doesn't have the same back breaking effect.
The Milner
2 practises in a row is def not a good idea, it would have killed me, plus you dont wear ear plugs, the amount of noise if nothing else would be enough to shatter you. The Milner
ken but we are not all super hero's like you john, some of us are normal people.12 hours working is exactly like 5 hours practising.........
Jaaakkkeee
You know how loud I play and how hard I rock. 12 hours climbing trees sounds like a doddle in comparison.
Adam Easy Wishes
Five hours of rehearsal is bad unless it's broken up a wee bit. If nothing else, my ears would get very tired after probably three solid hours of practice, and my voice.
Jaaakkkeee
Yeah, my ears, throat, legs and back were killing me.
Jaaakkkeee
I think the weather effected it too. If it was a chilly day I could pop out for a refreshing bask in the rain. But in the sun it made me feel worse.Yeah, we were playing a song and I was trying to write a bassline. That song's verses doesn't feature a bassline anymore. Guest Gladstone
My creative thought would start to diminish but other than that i can't imagine it being too bad. One of my first bands used to spend entire days in a freezing cold barn to practice. Nails man, nails. Your first bands were all shit though.
The Milner
We used to practise 5-6 hours a time 2-3 times a week with Point when i was younger, but that was always with breaks and getting out of the house for food and stuff, 5 hours solid in a capt toms room, nae chance. Guest Gladstone
I gardened like a motherfucker this weekend. I dislike gardening, but it has to be done sometimes. On Saturday, I planted a couple of trees - nothing major. I had kids footy in the evening, which was pretty good. My Barca-esque training seems to be paying off with the little fuckers always trying to play the passing game, even the really little fuckers who lost all their games were trying to play football and not just booting the ball as hard as they could! Then on Sunday I had more kids footy which I decided to cycle to and from. Total of 22 miles on the bike which was pretty good on such a nice day. Then my wife announced that we had to do every single job that was outstanding in the garden. We were out there for 6 fucking hours. The good part about this was getting to properly test out my Bose portable sounddock for the first time. What a beast it is. The quality of the sound when turned up loud outside is amazing.
