I would say there is a universe of difference between using a swear word and using a word which describes a forced act of sexual assault completely out of context. I refuse to accept that is the "evolution of language". If people are gonna keep doing it, then I can't stop them, but I can't help finding it offensive, for reasons I won't delve into. Using it as a light hearted phrase, to me, is pretty grim, and it seems to dilute the actual meaning of the word, which is a sickening act in itself. It's just something that has always irked me.

I wasn't really calling you a cunt, nor do I write a list of said cunts. It was just LAD BANTER I suppose. Sorry about that.

I don't think it takes anything away from what the true meaning of the word is and using the word rape in a "frape" sort of way doesn't make the actual act of rape any less disgusting and wrong.

Ace-ic: Soda Jerk saying sorry for calling someone a cunt. Surely that's a once in a blue moon occurrence? Dubya, you should feel humbled and special.

The term 'frape' is stupid on so many levels. Especially if it is used by men. By using the very definition of the crime men simply cannot be raped, ever. Instead I propose the alternative and more suitable terms Fuggery or Fodomy.

So a man can't be drugged by a woman and then forced to have sex with her? Next you'll be saying men can't be victims of domestic violence.

I think they're changing the criteria for rape, but as far as I know a man can't be raped in legal terms. He can be a victim of non-consensual buggery, or in the case of those men who were tied up, given viagra and forced to have sex with women who were desperate to have children - sexual assault. Rape indicates forced penetration or attempted penetration in female victims.

Read the post again. Such a scenario can occur but legally it is not called rape. Rape is a crime perpetrated by a man against a woman. Here's a wikipedia entry to vouch for this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_regarding_rape#Scotland

I was just lightheartedly saying that every time a man says they have been 'fraped' they are not only belittling the word rape, they are also technically wrong.

To clarify, rape = cock in fanny where the owner of said fanny does not consent.

Sodomy = cock in arsehole where owner of said arsehole does not consent.

Sexual assault = everything else involving cocks and fannies and mouths and breasts.

Statutory rape = an adult sexing a minor (cock in fanny) whether consensual or otherwise.

Hope I've cleared a few things up for y'all.

Ahhh, dammit, I was deliberating over whether or not to go to this.

I was taken to this by my mate Gareth who is a huge fan, I had no idea what i was in for except for a couple of things I had seen on youtube.

It was awesome. I'm making space on my iPod at this moment just so I can fill it with his stuff.

Try Dying being my fave track at the moment.

Yeah, fucking amazing gig! Best I've seen in Tunnels by a long way!

Also Ace-ic is Scroobius Pip tweeting "I've just seen a poster in some bar called Snafu saying I'm having an after-party there! I'm not. I'm having a 5 hour drive." before the gig yesterday and the resulting shenanigans. Funny thing is, they advertised it as £2 admission but after that debacle, end of the night there were cunts handing out flyers for it as "free entry"....

Cunts.

Yeah, it's the grey area of a man being erect to enable a woman to have sex with him. They see arousal as consent basically, I am sure I heard that they were attempting to change the criteria.

i think i hread that too, cant seem to find the article and i don't want to search that at work, should be changed though!
