FatHand
What is the record called and do you have a myspace/purevolume..... for a sample?
Teabags
No, because if he put free samples online,s omeone else would steal his ideas and become as immensely famous as he is.We can't be stealing all his royalties and A-List status just because we want to have a butcher's at what he's all about, can we now? Alkaline
Oh that's a novel one, you want me to pirate my own music now do you? I'm not being a pretentious cunt, if you want to listen to it, you can buy the record.I don't want the whole thing, i wanted to stream a track to see if i fancied it, i'm not talking downloading. I'd happily buy it if it was something i liked. There's all the technology available to showcase your output at no expense to yourself without losing anything available to you on the internet yet you won't. Why in US$ too? Any link to where its being sold?
Neil
Yeah, it's all very well telling us how much it costs but where can we buy it from?

Guest bluesxman
He previously made claims about his music being played in clubs in America. Well and good if it happens, well done to him, but the reluctance to post any form of proof smacks of telling little porkie pies. Posting a price with no information on where to purchase is pointless as is the subsequent copyright drivel, if it can be purchased legally where's the copyright issue? $7.99 is about 4 quid, I'd happily pay that even if it was shit just so I could actually have it in my possession. FatHand
How can you make money or get any satisfaction out of your music if you won't let your peers listen to it for a start and secondly offer their opinion/the chance to pass it on to friends? If you are selling it, you obviously want people to hear it, why not us?
Chris
So all your musical output is already copyrighted? In the UK copyright comes into effect as soon as something is written, which in musical terms usually means once it's been recorded in some fashion. Spoonie
with strpey it's earlier than that tho. he doesn't even have to wait until there's been an inception of an idea because he uses such advanced music production techniques. /x

Unlike the US, copyright here exists automatically without having to apply for any form of patent. The problem is proving copyright.

Keep it in your locked in your great mind because you can't steal a man's thoughts.

GraemeC
So am I right in suggesting that the majority of people on these message boards believe that Stripey is full of piss and wind, and wouldn't know a decent bit of music if it jumped up and bit his self righteous arse.
