Alan Cynic
They chased so much in the first half they just seemed to get knackered! Still, a draw means we can hold our heads high for a while.
delboy
i'm still getting over the shock of northern ireland winning their first competitive home match for four years! and you think scotland are crap!!!!
Benji
Up yours you cynical prick...Scotland are as good as England any day. It's not what you have, it's how you use it.Denmark prooved that.
Stephen
Scotland are as good as England any day.personally i think thats bollocks. but hey whatever. grabbing a draw against a top side doesnt make you a good side. continuing to consistantly perform like we did today on the hand is a different matter
Marn
It's not what you have' date=' it's how you use it.[/quote']It IS what you have AND how you use it, I think anyone can see Scotland is lacking in both.
delboy
god u just cant let the denmark game go, it was a friendly for crying out loud and if as it looks like its going to, it ends the england career of calamity james then that cant be a bad thing. its the competitive games that count and england got a decent result today as did scotland. Alvin Starclusk
Scotland *should* have won today. At 1-0, what we were crying out for was a target man. So we brought Kenny Miller (who was doing a shit-hot job) off and replaced him with not Lee Miller - Oh no - Craig Beattie. Thank fuck. I'd have hated us to be positive.Paul Hartley showed how brilliant he is tonight. Man of the match, no question.
calum
Well I thought Scotland should have won. Italy's goal was soft, soft, soft. TWO Italian guys standing in splendid isolation on the edge of the six yard box.Scotland also sat well too far off Italy in the second half, often there was no real challenge on them until they got within shooting range, we were lucky to get away with that against a team like them. And lastly, the great Barry Ferguson was totally anonymous. But still, good result, decent performance. I doubt they can consistently repeat it though.
Scorge
Kenny Miller (who was doing a shit-hot job)Scary form from a striker who normally can't finish his dinner.Good performance again - Walter won't take us to Germany, but he's getting going in the right direction..... Friday's Child
We should have won it but just didn't hold on. We were practically giving it away by th end of the second half. Still, I think it's immense that at Hampden the spirit never falters and it's always a great atmosphere. I think everyone was pretty glad not to have been raped by Italy. Achievement. Paranoid Android
Norway scoring a last minute winner against Slovenia was just as bad really as teh Italians equalising against us, but still if we beat Norway on wednesday then we've still got a chance of a playoff place. -matthEw-
Paul Hartley showed how brilliant he is tonight. Man of the match' date=' no question.[/quote']Agreed. Also, when will people realise Barry Ferguson should not be in the starting 11, let alone captain. has he ever had a good game for Scotland?
