Jim Stax
A much anticipated album 'Visible Forms' by a swedish band called 'Audrey', that I was put onto this week, arrived in the post today...Sublime is about all I can add at the moment... Wait I'll tryA Gentle post-rockish plate with a side order of sigur ros and a sprinkling of Cardigans but with added lushness. Yet better than all of the above!!!!Just buy it!Go here www.myspace.com/audreyswe Wonderfull!
Guest bluesxman
After many years of meaning to buy beyond Transformer/Berlin/Rock And Roll Animal, and not being sure where to start, I have been on a Lou Reed binge due to mucho cheapness on Amazon and handy guidance in Mojo this month!Street Hassle/The Blue Mask/New York/Magic And Loss/Songs For Drella/Ecstasy and Coney Island Baby in One Up second hand. All pretty good.

Old Gold
I bought the new Bob Dylan a couple days ago. It's not bad at all. For some reason the first time I heard it I hated it, but I think it was because my folks' stereo is really tinny and made it sound really bright and cheesy.Soon as I got it home it sounded a lot better and Dylan-y. Shaki
Surely your folk stereo would be the consummate Dylan listening device?! You couldn't even call that a joke, sorry. The National - "Alligator" a real growerThe Flaming Lips - " Yoshimi battles the pink robots" I'm trying, not sure about the critical aclaimThe Flaming Lips - "Soft Bulletin" a bit more accesible I thinkFoo Fighters - "In Your Honour" for 4 quid in one up, worth 4 quid I think. Nada Surf - "The Weight is a Gift" disappointing compared to "Let go" and i'm currently listening to the band Can that my mate gave me but I'm nae so sure. Neill
bonnie prince billy - the letting godidn't manage to get the one with the extra cd though You either need to be quick off the mark (and pre-order) or have the right contacts! Not time to listen to it properly (the Bonny Billy disc that is) as the missus was late home. Quick spin through says its pretty good. One for the anti-GPM brigade I'd say.Does nowhere have the 2 cd pack left? Iknow 1 Up only got 5 copies and most of them (if not all) were spoken for.Hope to pisk up the last Clogs cd (if the missus remembers)
