  1. Some of it's good, but there's some pretty large skippable chunks.
  2. http://www.aberdeen-music.com/topic/41223-and-the-best-band-ever-is/
  3. Stop derailing this thread please Lucky.
  4. Wes Anderson falls into that category too. Speaking of which, the trailer for his new film looks great.
  5. Mr White is meant to have shot Eddie too.
  6. That's what a fool believes Kenny, that's ...... what a fool believes.
  7. Been listening to Vic Mensa's mixtape a bunch recently. In the same vain as Chance the Rapper, but I prefer this slightly to Acid Rap: https://soundcloud.com/fuck-vic-mensa/sets/innanetape
  8. Prince Paul - A Prince Among Thieves Quite possibly the only concept record that I actually like, and even though I only heard it for the first time this year it's probably one of my favourite hip-hop albums of all time. A bunch of cool guest appearances, and the two main emcees and Prince Paul's production are awesome. Ridiculously good.
  9. I did used to hate broccoli when I was little. Love it now though, just made some purple sprouting broccoli tempura with my dinner tonight.
  10. Even back then the internet was losing their shit about Tom.
  11. You're really keen on those triple Ks Grand Wizard Rathen.
  12. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is falling into this category so far, the first four episodes have been really solid. So it's probably doomed.
  13. Eat my shorts man. Join us. I've got some radical Live & Kicking I recorded on VHS and plenty of Sunny Delight. Cowabunga!
  14. FWIW the guys in Hot Chip are actually good DJs in their own right, the DJ set I went along to years ago at Rockness was probably one of the best I've been to. It's not a case of them turning up and pressing play on their own tracks, it's the same as any guest DJ at a club night, they're just not doing it under a different alias like say 2 Many DJs.
  15. I'd disagree with just about everything you said. The little effort required to post messages and comments on the internet mean there's a much higher volume of abuse getting sent than anyone writing down and posting in the mail in the past. That bit in bold is way off the mark too, the onus should be on whoever is receiving the abuse to avoid it or shut up about it? That's completely backwards. The people sending it are the problem. I think it's good that she brought the issue up, and not just accept that it's "always going to happen" and let it be the status quo for how women should be treated in the music industry.
  16. On a related note, the dude from Man vs Food is skinny as shit now:
  17. I was going for hipster, but sure.
  18. JEFF the Brotherhood. More than 3 strings isn't punx.
  19. I don't think Brewdog have changed, people seem to just not like them now because "hipsters" like it. What's the term for someone who dislikes something they previously thought was cool, because it's now popular with people they look down on? Oh...
  20. LOL, nope. The biker clearly pulls in about a meter in front of the car, and slams his brakes on. It's pretty clear that the bikes are purposefully trying to obstruct and slow down the rest of the traffic too. Probably to give themselves a clear stretch of road ahead to make footage on their bikes. The driver reacts like a dickhead, but the bikers were most definitely being dickheads too. Everybody are dickhead?
  21. Yeah it definitely doesn't completely work, but I like crazy fan theories about films and TV.
  22. Her son was a big Breaking Bad fan, so Bryan Cranston organised a trip to the set for him, and she was just there accompanying him. She wasn't filming anything. Or what Noid Droid said.
