And my point with the examples was that smacking as discipline seems to be only ok with children, IMO there are much more effective ways of disciplining kids if you act like an adult and keep your cool. If you can't contain your frustration when faced with a 9 year old in front of people, and were severe enough to warrant concern from onlookers, then maybe you deserve a telling off. That's all. I'm not sying she should be labelled a child abuser and locked up, just get told to keep your shit together next time. Yes, I said they never hit me in the head or kicked me, which is true. A soft slap on the the fleshiest, least dangerous part of the body isn't the same is being hit in the head or kicked. Also they wouldn't do it in the middle of a public street.

If you don't want public scrutiny on hitting your child, don't hit them in public. Well it was an adult sized person I was using in that example, so I used more a more violent example. But fine, say your boss gave you skelp round the head and a boot in the arse at work. Sure you might be pressing assualt charges, but would you find that acceptable in any way acceptable?

Aye, it's a nice idea but ultimately won't work with what you have. The bodies of the Strats Jan and Old Gold posted pics of most likley were left blank for hardtail or Bigsby bridges, where as the body of you have looks like it already has the tremolo cavity routed so it's going to be near impossible to fit any roller or hardtail to that, and if you do there will still be a big hole through the body. Drilling holes in the existing bridge will put the the strings through two seperate trem systems, one of which will be under no tension, so will probably not even be playable. You're more likely to make money back on these pieces leaving the strat body as is, and keeping the bigsby for a more suitable guitar or seling it on. There's reason it's hard to find examples of strats with bigsbys, you really need a custom made body to make it workable.
