i think it's good because of the quality of the sound, the sound engineers have always been fantastic in my experience, and the times i've played there myself, the sound is always crystal on stage. but ach, the lemon tree is just as good

haha, well it would probly be best to try different cymbals out in a shop, and then see if you can get them cheaper off the net, it can be dodgy buying cymbals on ebay sometimes, heard some horror stories. wait till after christmas as well for when people have no money

sabian XS-20's are what i use, i bought them a couple years ago to replace my "solar by sabians" i got when i was a beginner. If your playing rocky sort of stuff they are perfect, but they are not so good if you want to play other styles, particularly jazz.

i think the problem here is that people, and rightfully so, just find it annoying the balls on toxic distortion to make this post, start arguments, badly defend themselves, and have such an attitude towards their music. they're right enough: they are a unique band in town, offering something different... i don't know if thats a good or bad thing, but im just saying. seriously guys you should just enjoy your band, people are not saying you can't "make something of yourselves," if you have enough passion for your music, then of course you can, but it won't be in this band. hopefully i don't sound too much of an arse

our mate took some photos of us playing there, a few months back. didn't seem to be a problem. they are really strict about it at moshulu
