In my experience the quality is okay, but it is really bad value for money. if you want your money to go further, i'd try somewhere else. but then again that was over a year ago, so things might have changed

the point of the thread should be to encourage bands that are just starting out, which may not know any better not to go for pay to play gigs. and i think that should go for any sort of topic where discussion is not really necessary, ie there is only two possible responses to this topic, very black and white. although things like this have probably been debated countless times on aberdeen music, i think our man from annie stevenson is just trying to get closer ties between the two forums, which i think is an excellent idea, although this thread seems to be forcing it a little. nonetheless the box music forum is looking good, and i think a big cheers are in order for bringing it to our attention in the first place

man.... calm down, you got some positive feedback which you should be proud of, not everyone is going to like it. i know you can't help how you sing, but perhaps the way you should make ben's feedback useful to your band is try to distance yourself from your influences in future, and try to take on an original direction. your stuff reminded me a lot of blink 182

yeah but you've got to remember a recording studio is primarily a business, and you don't want to lose money out of your own pocket so you can't charge buttons, and then you have to think about your staff, if you pay peanuts you get monkeys. having a joint recording studio/ gig venue is an interesting idea though. i thought it was really cool when tunnel 2 was the record shop, and if you managed to make it work it would probably create a sense of unity between the bands of aberdeen

sorry mate. that's really strange, if you're downloading it from the adobe website there should be no problem. you should maybe type your problem into google, chances are somebody's had your exact problem, and written about it!
