  1. i use a Pearl Chad Smith signature and i find this very versatile as if the skin is very tight, the drum will sound just like its from the chili's tunes, you can hear this on the chili's album "live at hyde park." I use it with the skin much looser and it still sounds amazing. the drum itself is essentially a steel drum with a deep sound. i think you can pick one up for under 150 quid
  2. precisely, im glad you guys had a good time on tour too. looking foward to the 5th
  3. but i remember when toxic d did that, they had their page plastered with seemingly fictional dates in the US, with no actual dates confirmed. Theres a big difference between doing that to big yourself up, and simply putting down future plans, just for example in my bands case, to 1. let promoters see what dates are available incase the date we go after is not available, but incase they are keen to book us, and 2 to let people know what we are planning to do in the future. and i think the later is especially important so as people don't forget about your band if your having a quiet period.
  4. the tunes i've heard from this sound fantastic, they really do the band justice. they are as tight as a duck's arsehole live
  5. on booking our September tour the dates with no gigs yet have been left 'TBC' so that the promoters that we get in touch with can see what dates are available and to make sure for ourselves that we're not double booking.
  6. the tune is brilliant, right up my street. i think the recording captures the atomosphere of your live set, and is a great reflection your live set also. please release something so i can buy it and put it on my ipod. well done Phil
  7. ? im getting a 15 quid gain because the voucher was a gift, i was only offering to sell it because if somebody was buying tickets anyway, they would save a fiver.
  8. if you don't want it, don't take it
  9. Cast of the Capital are as tight as a duck's arsehole (water tight) and i enjoyed every minute of their set, and although i've seen them previously, the quality of tunes they are now playing have made them one of my favourite bands in town, can't wait to see them again. the Colour Proposal were also very good last night, i'd never seen them before, and didn't really know anything about them. They were very entertaining to watch on stage as they seemed to be having a blast, and they were musically tight too.. so yeah, i'll be along to see them again as well, and so should you.
  10. we played the Ark at the start of April, that was quite a success, quite a big crowd. we'd also previously played the 3 sisters, which is kind of like edinburgh's triple kirks, but i would avoid it as we didn't think it was worth the travel
  11. hey there, got a 20 quid ticketmaster voucher, still in date, but i can't see myself using it. 15 quid.
  12. definitely would, something to take the girlfriend to, following a nice pizza pie. make it the 3rd and call it my b'day bash
  13. i think the song is okay as it stands, but you should definitely get an alternative mix up because it could probaly be quite good
  14. way hey! im happy to hear this. well done chaps. these guys don't like to fuck around do they?
  15. hahahahahahaha explanations: a.my farmyard upbringing b. im a small guy, and lidl's finest bourbon is like rocket fuel. c. i'll do anything for human physical contact
  16. i retract my statement... and i will also admit, before i am found out, that i did indeed send daryl down to the chemist with a shopping list for myself
  17. hahahahaha not to mention the jaunt down to the chemist in glasgow for moisturiser
  18. i don't think that especially the later of the two videos to emerge from the tour portrays me in a very good light... but at least I don't have my knob out
  19. sorry about that, the guitar's gone im afraid
  20. yes it should do, but it would rattle around unless you stuffed it with a little bit of bubble wrap or a cloth or something underneath the guitar as the telecoustic body is a little bit thicker than the electric version
