I always wondered this, and mike hte projectionist at the Vue was nice enough to give me a wee tour of hte projection room last year, the sound as far as i can remember is recorded onto a metal strip alongside the film, which is indeed a load of pictures one after the other. Sorry it is a bit vague, but i hope that clears it up a wee bit!

they were brilliant in kef a few years back, really good band, and extremely nice chaps too

Haddo House has been really nice the last few weeks, lovley place for a walk in the sun, and feeding the ducks

I have to agree with everyone who has mentioned Mac Beans on little belmont street. Brilliant and reasonably priced shop, with very knowledgeable staff and a great range of coffee, teas and accessories for brewing. Although i am partial to a nice cappuccino or latt i must agree that black and no sugar is the best way to drink coffee, and nice and strong And as for the fridge/freezer debate i agree that keeping it in the fridge does seem to keep it fresher, and for the more special coffee's i have the freezer seems to keep them in tip top condition for those days where i feel like something different so to summarise, i <3 coffee

I tried the thing with the gymball a few times today, the general idea isnt too difficult, not hitting your head and landing on your feet are near impossible however

I had 2 Rabbits when i was younger, and they were brilliant pets! Although not my first pet, i was quite young when my parents told me i had to be responsible for them, feed them, let themm out during the day, clean them out ect. Good way to teach responsibility! And as a wee tip, put padlocks on teh hutch doors, because cats CAN open them, luckily my cat was too scared of the rabbits to hurt them!

I know what you mean, my sister stays in the west end, and it is a fair walk from barfly! Walking from barfly to the GUU on my own on halloween at 2am was one of the scariest things ive ever done.

I suppose glasgow barfly's location wasn't perfect, but it was brilliant for traveling down to gigs due to having eurohostel basically next door, and a 24 hour subway across the road from that many a good night was had with the barfly-eurohostel-5am subway combo! The fact it was a bit of a shithole didn't bother me too much, i've been in a ot nastier, dingier venues!

What on earth is going on with barfly? I'm a bit confused why aberdeen barfly isn't on Barfly , only just noticed this tonight! and acording to Glasgow Barfly IS DEAD! on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads glasgow barfly has closed, when on earth did this happen, i really liked glasgow barfly for a nice smaller venue in glasgow, and thought them selling ice poles behind the bar in summer was genious! cheers for anyone that can help fill me in

I have both mac and pc and use both daily. I would have recomended mac too for your needs, but since you said otherwise, i'd probably say DELL, pretty cheap but ive got 4 dell laptops and dell pc and ive never had much of a problem with any of them!

i'm not 100% sure on this, but i think it is 16. With some piercings they will do it at 14 if a parent is with you, i'm not sure if this applys to tongue aswel. Out of the 30+ piercings i've had over the last 5 years my tongue was one of the first, and one of the only ones i've got left, i still absolutley love it, and if i take it out my mouth just feels weird!
