Yeah I didn't like him, he dropped me on my head I had a good time apart from that for the most part. Definitely preferred Himsa to 3 Inches Of Blood (musically). The hardcore dancer people - I think that's what you call them? The one's that stand and swing their arms with intent to punch anyone who gets close - were a wee bitty annoying! Especially when your friends push you straight into their fists and consequentially you get knuckles in your mouth I think I've only been to Moshulu for a gig once before Saturday, I thought it was pretty good, but alot of people seemed to be looking rather uncomfortable (the folk nearest the front mainly).

Our survey says: EHHH UHHH! I had the option of buying a Tokai Love Rock (LS85Q in see thru red FWIW) but bought a Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition. Plays -and sounds - better than the Tokai (IMO I s'pose). Not bashing the Tokai though, it is a lovely guitar. I just disagree with your statement! Maybe it's better than any LP you've played?

R.I.P 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott '66-'04. Dime was a massive influence on my playing and it really saddens me to think of what happened a year ago I've been listening to all my Pantera albums (all the one's they have from C.F.H. > R.T.S.) and also the Damageplan album on loop all day today. I'm gonna make sure that the rest of my band knows at least one Pantera song for when we are gigging! James

If that were the case, in Standard E, the G would raise to G#. But this isn't open tuning anyways! Dan Atom also describes it well: So listen to him too! That isn't dropped C. The dropped C is where the lowest string is dropped to C from standard tuning i.e. CADGBE. BEADF#B (B Standard). It is standard tuning down two and a half steps. This is what I play my 25.5" guitars in.

I really enjoyed that night! The pits were a bit too calm at times, but great fun at other points! Very well done to all of the bands that played. I personally enjoyed Ruinous and My Downfall most, but the others were great at what they were doing too!

This is where me knowing that technically this is NOT drop C is really annoying! Especially because I know what you mean! Consider this: Standard = EADGBE Drop D = DADGBE (dropping the E to D) Drop C = CADGBE (dropping the E to C) Drop D down a step = (CGCFAD) Agree or disagree, I know I'm right and it's the most common thing I see notated wrongly, but anyway, for CGCFAD, try Ernie Ball Power Slinkys ( 11-48 ). I used them when in that tuning and didn't need to adjust anything.

I only currently own three Boss pedals, one of which I very rarely use. They are: CE-5 Chorus Ensemble (the one I barely use) NS-2 TU-2 I know exactly what I need, and they are the most important pedals I own, along with my Wah!

I'm not planning on halving the price if that's what you are hinting Well the previous owner must simply have preferred EL34's. Yes, it is simply the effect of flicking a switch to change it from EL34 to 6L6. It had the EL34s when I got it, I used them for a month or so, then changed them to 6L6 (to see what they were like, and also because I had a talent show to play and wanted them to be in full working order, so as a just in-case). I've had the current valves in for 10 months and they still sound good. I've had not one problem with hums or crackling or anything either. Yeah that's pretty much it regarding the valves! Couldn't really put it much simpler!

Tony's vocals are ace! I like death style vocals! I think this song is ace, when the guitar sound is sorted out then I think it will become really awesome!

The bit I liked most of that was at 5:20. It just seemed to get far more lively. The first riff was cool too, I think that - as has been said before - it IS a bit too repetitive and seems to drag, but yeah, pretty cool
