  1. Slipknot and Machine Head (Machine Head especially) aren't nu-metal whatsoever.
  2. Yeah! I actually like it :O I don't want a black one. The KH-2 is my nice black ESP superstrat I know there'd be nothing wrong with going for a black one, but hey, I would like some variation, + I dig the finish so why not! It's just not happening for me dude. It's good, but I'm becoming a gear snob - I play my KH-2 then play the RG and the difference (IMO) makes me want to stop playing the RG. I KNOW it's a good guitar for the money - thing is, my others just blow it away. Which is kinda unfortunate o_O The RG has a nice Seymour Duncan Invader at the bridge too... you wanna buy it from me?
  3. Link This guy is called Adam Fulara. His playing of things such as this are unbelievable! It's very much like he's playing piano I guess, but compared to the usual 'shreddy' stuff I find to have that wow factor, this is nuts!
  4. ESP M-II Urban Camo This will be ordered as soon as I get my Ibanez Giger RG sold. Can't wait!
  5. I think it's cos the iPod loses possible song memory to games, calenders and all the other garbage they have on them...
  6. It's actually http://www.myspace.com/endlesslist for Weeping Jesus I don't think Element can play this one... I'll double check with Hog but I think we can't manage
  7. I don't know all the various options around but my Sony HD-5 is perfect as far as I'm concerned...
  8. That is because Nile are better though

  10. That's the big problem I think, I don't have an external CD burner to hook up to the Tascam so I'm not 100% on how to put the recordings onto CD The recordings would be just the Mesa (no bass, drums, vocals), unless you wanted me to hook my MP3 up and basically record the Mesa over your old recordings (Nessuno, Neon etc.)? I'm sure I'll get sorted soon so that you can hear the stuff. Cos the only way you could at the moment is if I took the multitrack to Toms...
  11. Anyone have any experience with Jackson RR1s or ESP SVs? Hello peoples. I'm in need of a new trem guitar. I currently use an ESP KH-2 Neck Thru as my main trem guitar. I also have a custom Explorer and a Gibson LP Limited Edition as my non-trems so need to suggest a non trem I'm looking at the Jackson RR-1 and the ESP SV Standard. Has anyone got any experience with either of these models? How would they compare to each other in terms of overall playability and quality? I'm certain that the ESP will be slightly better, it's just a matter of how much so this is! The ESP will be cheaper and also has the pickups I'd be using as factory standard whereas I'd have to get them put on the RR1 afterwards. I just need to know if it plays just as well? The other trem guitar I have just now is an Ibanez Giger (with a Seymour Duncan Invader at the bridge). Basically, I played the ESP then the Ibanez and it was astonishing just how much better the ESP actually is! I'd like to have something a bit closer to it in terms of quality. When I pick up the Giger, I wish I was playing something better. In short - the Ibanez just doesn't cut it. Any opinions (nice ones ) welcome! Note:- I have no means of trying either of these guitars so I'm looking on various forums for peoples opinions. And before anyone suggests it - yes I am already a member on both the ESP and Jackson official forums... Thanks, James
  12. Well Hogster, I wanna use my Mesa for the recordings if possible In my experience, mic'ing the amp has given me far better results. I've been using my Sennheiser E835 mic on the Mesa and recording it onto my Tascam 788. Man, it sounds really good. I finally feel like I actually know what I'm doing! I could record it and somehow let you hear the recordings (I have no way (yet) of getting them from the Tascam to my computer though ) and you can see if you feel that they are good enough Note:- They are
  13. Awesome cheers Sam! Yeah I will be! I'll see ya somewhere after the Fudges possibly? Thanks for the millionth time Alexandra! I get to see you again this weekend too! Hurrah!
  14. The fuss has to be the boy racers that cut you up at roundabouts by launching through them at 60mph when you're already half way through 2 minors otherwise so I was doing well. Still pissed off that I was failed for him cutting me up (he went through after I had went btw). Regarding Pass Plus - Roadwise do it. I don't know if anyone can do it or just people that learnt with Roadwise or whatever, but it's 185 and then the grant is 45 so it ends up at 140. This is more expensive than some others (I think) but has the element of skid testing included too.
  15. Congrats dude! 12th is D-Day for me. Albeit second time round
  16. This is the first I've seen this thread. Pure, utter genius! haha!
  17. Completely agree. I mean, Slayer were far superior before Reign In Blood... That may be the case for other artists I s'pose, but he's done well with Slayer though.
  18. But Sam, the question is, is that 'Zo' pronounced the same as 'Yo' as in yo-yo... orrrrrrrr is it like Zaw as in the same sound as awwww? hehe
  19. Ah, reminds me of the Cults Talent show. I'm really enjoying 'Blocks'. I look forward to seeing you guys in the gigging environment this year
