Hog my friend, you've been watching 'Short Circuit' too much! I know who you mean though Hog (John 5, Marilyn Manson's guitarist)! Devin uses an awesome ESP Tele copy, sounds great! He also uses ESP MX-250 II's and ESP EXs, and Stephen Carpenter signature Horizons.

I just lost all respect I ever had for your opinion. Regarding the 'One' video, it's an ESP Strat copy (better known as an ESP Vintage Plus) that Kirk uses. Since the Justice tour though, he's been using various Super Strats, which - AmbientMood - do the job perfectly as a good super strat is hard to beat for what it's needed for!

My 'shred' guitars are an ESP KH-2 Neck Thru and an Ibanez RGTHGR1 Giger RG. Both have lovely fast and thin necks and just seem so smooth to play. The ESP has an Original Floyd Rose bridge which is just brilliant, much better than the shitty Licensed Floyds. This thing actually holds tune after abuse. Best thing to do is play the guitars you think would do the job, then go for the one you prefer! I find that jumbo sized frets are handy too as you get good harmonics out

Just checked the AA site for online insurance quote. Apparently, for the S reg Fiesta 1.4 I'm after, it'd cost me 2600 fully comp. Gay.

My friend has a 1.2 R reg Mk.1 Fiat Punto and his insurance cost the same as the purchase of the car - 1400. Being 17 doesn't help! It sucks! My insurance will end up being around there too I'll have to do pass plus to reduce it a bit.

Personally, Ifind the worst thing is when you have a super slow computer, you put new stuff in it (new processor, motherboard etc.) and something clearly is faulty and causes your computer to RANDOMLY crash. It's so frustrating when you're typing something and it just goes to the blue screen of death, just like what happened as I was typing this for the first time

Yeah the Piezo looks a bit dodgy I guess, but that's not the reason I bought it. The playability was what I noticed, and the fact I love EMGs. But yeah, I'm trying to get rid of this pretty soon hopefully, any takers?

As the title suggests, I have a guitar to sell. 'Tis a Custom jobbie, I bought it about 2 weeks ago but it just doesn't seem to agree with me ya see, hence why I'm selling it. The fact that there are other things I'd rather have doesn't help! Alder Strat shape body ESP Maple Bolt-On neck with 21 fret ebony fretboard Sperzel Locking Machine Heads EMG 85 Bridge Pickup EMG SA Middle Pickup EMG SA Neck Pickup Piezo Acoustic Pickup System (currently not working, but is fixable) Wilkinson style Bridge Aqua/Blue Finish with Black Scratchplate Nickel Hardware Unfortunately, when I received this guitar, it had no trem arm with it. If you try some shops, they may have one to fit. If wondering, the black things are bits of velcro from when the Piezo system was external, they were used to attach the pre-amp. The Single is 50W, Dual is 100W and Triple is 150W. Urm, in my experience, the Single Rectifiers sound a bit purer and a bit brighter than the Dual and Triple. You can also get decent sounds at low volumes because of power tube clipping coming into play. The Dual and Triple will sound ok lower aswell because most of the juice is coming from the pre-amp, but IMO the Single was better for that. Because of the different headoom of each, clean tones will be impacted. The Single's cleans will break up at lower volumes than the Dual or Triple's will. In other words there'll be more clarity for cleans on the bigger the amp (wattage) of the series. I got away fine with using my Single for gigging as it doesn't need to be ear popping-ly loud on stage but still gets the desired cranked tone. You can just then mic it up to the P.A. and there ya go!
