I'd welcome the chance to see 65daysofstatic for quite a bit over a tenner. Well worth it in my opinion, there's not many bands that I've never heard that much of before that have enthralled me as much as them at Castlegate/Tunnels/Moshulu/Wherever.
First season was watched to death when borrowed from the Bassment's very own flairmaster AJ. Waiting to remember to buy the second season from HMV or play.com. VASTLY underrated in the UK this sitcom seems to be. For shame.
"Aye that Bird Flu is a bit root like eh?" "Indeed but I do like that feeling just before you feel like you're going to sneeze and then you don't but your nose gets all twitchy and you make those faces and everyone thinks you're going to blow nose-extract everywhere but you don't and just get a bit teary and grin with embarrassment and everyone laughs convivially and just then Fred realises his wife Linda has been tupping the butler for the last four months. Oop I've said too much." Anyways. All we've established is that Teabags is a bastard right? Who didn't know that before?!
It's a good followup I would say. I haven't completely fallen for it like I did with the first album over the months after its release but I dare say that it's a grower. Dunno if it'll outshine the debut but still recommended as a bit more of a 'thinking sounding' indie band as it were.
