  1. If you're not after an actual whole venue like the Tunnels for the event there's plenty of good bars that let you reserve areas within the bar with food options. Old School House, Illicit Still and Bassment all spring to mind. Kate's joint birthday party thing at Tunnels was good fun however, there were sandwiches galore
  2. They're playing at Moshulu the following night as well aren't they?
  3. Don't think there's already a thread on this gig. Former Murderdolls frontman and Frankenstein Drag Queens From The Planet 13 mainman Wednesday 13 plays Moshulu nae this coming Tuesday. Support comes from The 69 Eyes. Maybe. Or McQueen. I dunno
  4. Misery Signals and All That Remains hit Moshulu on their 'Fall Of Ideals' European tour on April 17th for those interested in that sort of thing... Misery Signals http://www.miserysignals.net All That Remains http://www.allthatremainsonline.com
  5. Seems The Twang are so excited about their Aberdeen date at Drummonds they've announced a future one at Moshulu also...

    Dick in the box

I might agree with you on JT being a sub-par celeb these days although I don't generally read enough of that sort of thing maybes. He's definitely an above-par pop artist though.
  7. Music Hall still has a place for certain gigs in my opinion. Bit disappointed that I missed Bloc Party again but I'm sure I'll catch them somewhere, sometime. Being in Newcastle seeing Regina Spektor in a wee student union on her birthday made up for it somewhat It'll be interesting to see if Bloc Party venture up here again. I hardly think that anyone could view a sellout crowd against one coin as being an entire town hating their band...
  8. What's with the bashing of ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead? I think it's an amazing band name. You can just shorten it to Trail Of Dead if it's hurting your mouth
  9. That just made number one on my favourite Madeley Moments list. Foolish is not the word
  10. Highly recommended. Been on strong rotation from me since the last Moshulu gig, electro Primal Scream/Nine Inch Nails/Cooper Temple Clause/Massive Attack-ish vibe. With strobe lights. Miss at your peril.
  11. Bizarre, I've heard nothing yet. Would be soundly disappointing if it's true though
  12. Oocha, some very pleasant lineup announcements there. I don't think it'd be that hard to tempt me down , I believe that could work out as Alldayer with BenCozine, With Scissors, Whoresx3 & Take A Worm For A Walk Week in Edinburgh, Will Haven/Pelican/Explosions In The Sky in Glasgow over 4 days. Holy shit! ^_^
  13. Shame be upon you all! As always Bri coped admirably despite the obvious handicap of 50% less onstage Fudge but the drinking competition and rock, paper, scissors went down a storm as usual. I was quite pleased with the music selection as well tonight
  14. Album's pleasant enough. Hasn't blown me away massively but has the scent of 'a grower' so we'll see how much I warm to it in the next few weeks...
  15. DiS is full of amusing Brian May mockery at the moment.
  16. Lady Sovereign - Public Warning Cold War Kids - Robbers And Cowards Adult. - Hand To Phone Remixes The Sounds - Dying To Say This To You My Vitriol - Finelines Frank Turner - Sleep Is For The Weak Ratatat - Classics All the above records spring to mind
  17. Have you been deleted already?
  18. Jesus right enough! Could quite easily be tempted to add Will Haven onto the other two gigs I'm attending Mnemic are indeed supporting Deftones.
  19. Aye whit?! 'Voice Of The Voiceless'? 'War Within A Breath'? Nae keeping up the momentum?? Steady lad Best festival lineup I've seen in a long time. On the subject of Crowded House...
