  1. I'm with the mums on this one. If you've ever been to Rotherham, you'll know that the little blighters are going to get no other pleasure out of life.
  2. It does. It was a comment on "Covert" instead of "Covent".
  3. Oyster cards are more like season tickets, what you want is a Travelcard. You'll only need a 1 & 2 zone card, which'll set you back about 4.50ish. Whatever you do though, if you're going out at night, DON'T rely on the tube/trains to get you home - make sure you know where and when the night buses are. The tubes at night are prone to never turning up and taxis cost a small fortune (I once spent 40 getting home from Brixton). There is of course nothing whatsoever to do in London of a night, but if you must insist on trying to find something, have a look here: http://www.timeout.com/london/
  4. Season 4 was utterly, unequivocally shite. It should have been blown up at master tape stage, and I should have never been made to pay 17.99 to watch the unadulterated piece of bawsackery that constituted the lame cash-in designed to fool people that had (rightly) found the first three series to be hilariously funny. I laughed once. At the AIDS song. Which was very funny. The rest stroked goats balls.
  5. The Armando Iannucci Show is out on DVD on Monday too! Amazing, a complete void of good stuff, then the new series of the Sopranos sneaks up on me without warning, a brilliant series that I thought I'd never see again (Armando Iannucci) gets released on DVD and Hybrid release a new album on Monday (OK, so no one else will find that remotely exciting)..."Heaven, I'm in Heaven". Shaki, you could try watching the box sets of series 1-5 before Sunday if you've got a spare 65 hours and then watch the catch-up of the new one, but you should be OK just to jump straight in at series 6.
  6. I tried the earlier version with a laRge Scottish-based bank, But they tried the gagging order Stuff on me. I may try again with these letters...
  7. It should be noted that under no circumstances is there any form of accommodation anywhere in the vicinity of The Lemon Tree. The Lemon Tree is at least a 5 hour trek from the centre of Aberdeen and it is *strongly* recommended that someone with local knowledge accompanies you in your quest to find it. Try here: Doric Sherpas
  8. Nah' date=' our fixture was swapped so that they wouldn't clash. No surrender to the Jews? What on Earth are you waffling on about?
  9. Have just booked my flights over to Prague for the away leg against Sparta. Their most expensive seat in the whole stadium last season cost....... 5.95
  10. I have now seen Clerks 2. It's *MUCH* better than I expected it to be . Even more puerile than most of his stuff - think more Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back than Clerks. And the best bit? Kevin Smith did a Q&A session after the screening. He's an incredibly funny man (just a shame that the only people that asked questions were the geeky fanboys who couldn't ask anything that wasn't about comics).
  11. OK, I'll bite. In what way? Because you read Yogi Hughes' account and because you clearly hate Hearts chose to believe it without witnessing the evidence for yourself? Kenny Milne should have been off on a straight red, the only reason he wasn't was because diving, cheating bastard Bednar got straight back to his feet.
  12. Last season I was watching Hearts for 10, there were about 500 tickets per game at that, another couple of thousand at 15, and premium seats at between 20 and 35. It was 15 for the away end. Dunfermline charged us a flat rate 23 for the first game of this season. SPL prices (in general - Hearts have got it right) to watch what is generally pretty poor football are ridiculous. Anything over 15 is a rip off.
  13. May I just say... Hearts, Hearts Glorious Hearts!!!
  14. The RBS one will show up that the transfer's not going through until after the weekend, but it will transfer the money across immediately (unless you specifically tell it to do it at a later date). I have *many* criticisms of RBS, but Digital Banking is a really good bit of software (much better than the Cahoot one I also use).
  15. Quite simply, no. The problem? As the illicit bible trade would need to go underground, the bible dealers would push up the price of bibles to exceptional levels. In order to feed their bible habits, the religous would increasingly turn to crime. Levels of muggings, burglary and fraud would increase massively, the prisons would become overcrowded and lawlessness would ensue.
  16. Tough draw, but it could have been a lot worse. Think we've got a small-ish chance of getting to the group stages. There were teams in the seeds that we wouldn't have had any hope against. Got to finish off the job in Bosnia first though...
