  1. Having just watched what had the potential to be the worst football match of my life turn into very probably one of the best (Bayern game excepted), I am a happy Jambo tonight! Not entirely happy about playing Gretna with the entire rest of the country against us though.
  2. Well, I didn't live with the person in question at the time (in fact, 1 months squatting on his floor, I never have), but there's someone on this board who once lived in a flat with a pickled goldfish in a jam jar. Not in formaldehyde, you have to understand, but in vinegar. It exploded (the goldfish, not the jar). That was truly grotty.
  3. Sweet the Lord! I was unaware of them having a new album out (getting old...). They're playing with De La Soul down here in the smoke in April. It will be immense.
  4. Having put out Brazil in the quarter finals, I've got the Czech Republic to just edge the mighty Polska in the semis, with Italy putting out England. Poland go on to beat a demoralised England side to 3rd place. An unheard of Czech left midfielder (who has recently signed a 3 year deal with current club, Heart of Midlothian) comes on and scores a stunning late winner. He is now valued at £8million, and is therefore immediately bought by Chelsea for £24million. My 40-1 bet on the Czech Republic pays back handsomely. It might happen...
  5. Not to worry' date=' here you go: [url']http://oasis.gov.ie/moving_country/moving_abroad/common_travel_area_between_ireland_and_the_UK.html Any of those'll do.
  6. Got a photo driving licence? If so, you don't need one.
  7. If it's a renewal, there's a fast-track service that takes a couple of weeks, or I think you can haul your ass down to Glasgow and get one same day. Dunno about new passports. Of course, you don't actually need a passport to go to Ireland.
  8. Holy fucking shit-biscuits. As a new resident of Kent, I'm glad this law has been brought to my attention. Fortunately, I don't tend to converse with actual people until I'm in London town, where lawlessness is more or less a given.
  9. Yeah, let's see about that then, using what is probably Hearts strongest/most consistent team: Gordon - Owned by Hearts Neilson - Owned by Hearts Pressley - Owned by Hearts Webster - Owned by Hearts Fyssas - Owned by Hearts Skacel - Loaned from Marseille Hartley - Owned by Hearts Brellier - Owned by Hearts Beslija - Loaned from Kaunas Elliot - Owned by Hearts Pospisil - Owned by Hearts Yeah, I see your point right enough.
  10. Ah bless. It must be great supporting such a noble team with no dirty players in it. How long do you think a club needs to "underachieve" until people realise that they are in fact "shite"?
  11. My credit rating was terrible (I got the experian score thingy), but Cahoot still lent me 7000 at 5.6%, about the best interest rate you can find. If you haven't tried them, may be worth it.
  12. Never said we didn't. Was replying to the previous post. Sounds like you're the better team at the moment...
  13. I don't. That would be the most horrific 90 minutes of football in my lifetime (unless of course the JTs were a few goals ahead in the first half). On the other hand, I'd take Hearts v Spartans.
