I've bought a couple of things now from http://www.drum-stop.co.uk and they've been great. Both times I've phoned them with a couple of queries, and they've been super helpful and knowledgeable. Cheapest prices anywhere too, but even if they're not they'll match it. The stuff got sent by http://www.dpd.co.uk/ and I was able to track it all the way - it left the shop in less than an hour and was with me in 24, they even sent me a text telling me to the hour when it would be delivered, including the driver's name... Mr Thinker attended a screening of the film 'Rush' at Cineworld. However, there was a technical issue resulting in the film being unable to be shown, apparently a problem with a corrupt download. This resulted in Mr Thinker having to sit in the cinema waiting for the issue to be sorted out, and while waiting, the cinema played various theme tunes for everyone's entertainment. After 40 minutes, it appears that the issue was still unresolved, so Mr Thinker left the cinema However as he was leaving, a particular theme started playing, which Mr Thinker actually likes, as opposed to all the other themes played previously, which he does not. An unfortunate series of events for Mr Thinker, and I do hope he was suitable recompensed.

Surely the problem here lies with the dick drivers coming in the opposite direction who should see what is going on and also stop for you? I sometimes stop to let people cross in the expectation that other drivers will do likewise. Doesn't often work, but I'm not going to stop being nice to people just in case I'm the only one doing it. It's my pet hate - I think it's quite an Aberdeen thing, but I hate the drivers who resolutely plough on deliberately ignoring anyone else. It doesn't take much to simply slow down, let someone across then speed up again. No time lost, but time saved for someone.
