Stroopy121
Rush. Turns out that despite the fact that everyone thinks they're amazing, they're actually pretty amazing. xx

Paranoid Android
The new FKA Twigs EP which is my favourite new thing for a while. Also a load of Erykah Badu as I'll be seeing her live on Sunday.
James Broonbreed
As my Spotify playlist hasn't been updated for some time and there's no WiFi, I've been listening fairly voraciously to Parquet Courts for the past week.

Mr Owl PhD
One of my favourite records at the moment is 'Weaving' by Jo Johnson. This isn't Boris's cabinet minister brother but Jo Johnson who used to play guitar in pioneering riot grrrls Huggy Bear. She makes different music now though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bnjk-5BFprE
Lemonade
Listening to an awful lot of The Raveonettes at the moment. Especially the Pretty In Black album.
TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
I am spending a great deal of my time listening to Divers by Joanna Newsom. Which is no bad thing as it is probably my favourite album of the last twelve months.

Jaaakkkeee
I felt a bit of a Gaslight Anthem vibe from it, saying that, I've only ever listened to '59 sound. But I'm enjoying it too. They actually seem to be evolving slightly. They're not trying to write songs that sound like when they first started, like a certain other band who have recently released a new album that's full of stuff that 40 odd year olds shouldn't be singing about and swimming pools to see dicks.
Eupraxia
I am listening to a lot of No Grace by Paws—it's an absolute stoater of an album! The song writing is brilliant, and fucking hell the production slays me. Paws are one righteous bastard of a band.
James Broonbreed
I've just discovered I can use Spotify player at work, which is a massive fucking boost. Unfortunately though, it doesn't have Matt Elliot - Drinking Songs, which is a fucking amazing album to contemplate going on a massive bender with some paracetemol. It's also not available on Vinyl - which is fucking gay. I'd be listening to that just now if I could.
Mr Owl PhD
Have become a bit obsessed with a new compilation album of music from 1970s Burkina Faso. It's called Bobo Yeye: Belle Epoque in Upper Volta. http://www.numerogroup.com/products/bobo-yy-belle-poque-in-upper-volta Some of the stuff on it is just ridiculous: a mixture of African grooves, jazz and psychedelic rock.
