Sainsbury's Local will be opening on Guild Street where Criterion Bar used to be. John Lewis are planning to have a car collection point set up similar to the M&S car collection point. Did BoS get rid of it?Pretty sure new regulations came in that meant they had to get rid of it. The health impact of asbestos has become more widely recognised certainly in my lifetime, I am unsure of the entire factual timeline. I imagine for a place serving food it would be a total nightmare to try and get rid of all asbestos from the building and not worth the hassle and cost since they already had other outlets in Aberdeen. For me it was on a school trip to Deep Sea World. We stopped at some grotty motorway service station for a piss and there was a jazz mag in one of the cubicles. It got smuggled on to the bus and passed around.mins was when I was about 9 I was waiting for my dad to pick me up outside school, it was a Saturday and I had just finished football, so dead apart from me and a few boys. we were just loitering as kids do, walking along a dyke and such when one of the other kids let out a yelp! we scrambled over and found a single page from a readers wives mag. The page was stuck to the pavement (made all attempts to sneak it home extremely difficult) we all just stared at thes ginger permed f fat fortysomething bith a beasting grizzly bush to match!
