It's pretty much the White Stripes but with a full band. Starts out with a lot of slower songs but the second half is all bluesy stompers. Swingin' Ryan Posted May 17, 2012 Report Share Posted May 17, 2012 Everything about Future of the Left is absolutely spot on, when it comes to 'heavy' guitar bands in the UK, I don't think anybody else touches them at the moment. Falkous lyrics are a joy aswell. The demo for Notes On Achieving Orbit on the new album features the opening line "Where were you when Russell Brand discovered fire, did you join with the crowds in Trafalgar Square and watch it on the big screen?".
