MarkDrummer
Debenhams do Jeff Banks jeans - I've got 3 pairs in different colours and they're superb. I've got a couple pairs of Levis too but actually prefer the Jeff Banks ones. They're about £40-£60.
The Milner
£40 on jeans! I spend £40 on enough clothes to last me 6 months at least!

Lemonade
Primark jeans are shite. They're really soft and they just fall to bits. Like their fucking carrier bags.Next jeans FTW.

The Milner
I always prefer none jeans trousers, infact outwith my sk8ter boy baggy jeans phase i have only bought one pair of normal jeans in my life. I hate wearing them. My fav ever pair of trousers were from Elements, a pair of baggy trouser style things with a tartan through them, amazing trousers!! Flights
Why is there such a large market in really cheap no brand guitars?
Soda Jerk
Kids who demand a guitar for Christmas, realise that it's hard, and chuck it in the cupboard.I was one of those kids. I got it out again though. Now I'm a virtuoso.
Flights
I admit my first guitar was a terrible strat knock off. I thought that was all you got but it seems there is a crazy amount of low end guitars these days and they aren't just Les paul and strat copies. keeno
Exactly what Soda Jerk said. If you're gonna get a child who has the concentration span of ten minutes a guitar, you're not going to spend several hundred pounds on an instrument. The depreciation isn't worth it even if you sell it on. If you buy a cheap crappy instrument you've not lost much even if you sell it on for 30-40% less than you paid for it.My first guitar was an Ibanez SA36Fm (which now sells for something like £500 brand new!). Bought it second hand with my own money though. That's the key difference. My parents didn't have a say in what instrument itwas, otherwise it would have been something cheap and crap. Soda Jerk
My first was a Yamaha. I dunno the model, but it was the black Superstrat copy they used to sell in the Argos about 12 years ago. I ended up spraying it dozen times, and stuck an EMG in it. Loved that thing. It was total garbage though. wish I still had it. It got left behind at my old bandmates house when I moved up here.

Most people's says Member, but mine and Teabags' says Active Member. What gives?
