I liked the cut of Maschine's jib, the software looks like a good addition to the stuff i have on Logic Studio and the fact you can use it as a plug-in appeals to me. It just gives the impression of a very hands-on experience which i like as well. Hoping to have some more LWA stuff up soon as well.I'm nearly done set-up-wise and i think the Maschine Mikro will be my last purchase for a wee while (i'm pretty sure my wife is getting sick of me GASing at the moment :/). keeno
So much want. I bet the price will be mad though. Apparently $1200 US so I can see it being close to £1000.
Old Gold
The Van Halen sounds on that ENGL are pretty rocking, but that clean tone sounds weak as piss compared to a Minimat or Tiny Terror IMO.

Old Gold
People, people... it's not a black and white subject matter. You just have to have loads of amplifiers for all potential tone requirements.

HateEvent
I want another Explorer. I want a Les Paul Custom (though will settle for an ESP Eclipse if I find the right one).I also want to finish saving for the Mesa Boogie Mark V that I have lined up. That one is a definite It'll go alongside the ENGL wonderfully. Fulfilling ALL the tonez!
Soda Jerk
Cleans are crucial. You need a good clean to get the best out of a bollock-smashing fuzz, otherwise it clips and compresses badly. You can't play The Impression That I Get without a great clean tone either, and that's the greatest riff of all time.
