I think they got 7 yellow cards and could have easily been shown a few more, as well as a red. At the end of the match their number 7 shoved a steward as he tried to get to a fan in the crowd who was giving him the '2-1' signs as the players walked off.You could tell how much it meant to the players as well, as they were really fighting for each other. Lemonade Posted September 7, 2010 Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 We really dodged a bullet tonight, a combination of a completely toothless Scotland performance coupled with a very well-organised and tight Liechenstein team. Genuinely thought we were done for after they scored. Tho lets look on the bright side, we had an off day and we still got three points. Lets just hope we don't have too many more of them.I think the 7 minutes injury time was warranted, 5 minutes for Wallace and Hutton's injuries, and then they fucking wasted about 3 minutes of that. Adam Johnson was on top form again when he came on to replace Walcott (ankle knack) and scored his second goal of the week. SWP was predictably awful when he came on in the second half for Rooney.Switzerland didn't look as tight at the back as they were at the world cup and gave us a real scare when they made it 2-1 immediately after AdJo's goal but didn't create many chances in the last 15 minutes.
