It was like they just showed random episodes from series 1-5 every single day, there are episodes I can almost quote word for word. I bought the first two series on DVD a few years ago and started watching them, and I just couldn't bring myself to finish them after seeing "Bart The Genius" for like the millionth time. He's wrong.It's obviously not AS good, post-Seaosn 8 still has many good episodes, and those episodes are still better than most garbage on TV. The only episodes that truly make me wince is when they try and shoehorn in special guest voices for the sake of it. That kind of bugs me.It dipped a fair bit around 9-12 (though I think Season 10 is all solid, despite the criticism it gets), but I honestly believe it picked up again after that. The newer ones that Channel 4 have been showing (season 14-18) have mostly been pretty great.Still, even a shit episode is better than fucking Family Guy.
