Adam Easy Wishes
Cafetiere-in-a-mug. One stop shop. Amazing invention, has revolutionised coffee at work. Cheap, too.5/
Alan Cynic
I have 2 of those...and they are very handy (apart from cleaning the grounds out after)

Jaaakkkeee
So is it beans or a bit of kenco you put in the bottom? Then just reuse same stuff for a day so you only top up with hot water?

Then just reuse same stuff for a day so you only top up with hot water? It's ground beans, like coffee you'd put in a filter coffee machine or a normal cafetiere.I don't reuse the coffee, tip out and re-fill every time. Jaaakkkeee
I don't reuse the coffee, tip out and re-fill every time.So couldn't I just use normal kenco from a jar if i have to refill it? seems just like a normal cup to me if i have to refill it. Soda Jerk
My cafetiere broke when our kitchen cupboard fell off the wall last Christmas. It was never replaced. This looks handy.I have no idea how to even pronounce cafetiere, so I still call it a percolator, even though they are two different things. Adam Easy Wishes
It allows you to have 'real' coffee - i.e. coffee that is not instant coffee (such as Kenco) - which tastes far, far nicer. There is a description on how it is used in this review:Smartcafe Hot Cafetiere Mug - Review - For coffee lovers who hate washing up
Guest Bob Knob
Or a 'coffee press' but that's just gay, isn't it?
Scootray
If you wanted to use Kenco you'd just use a flask.
