FatHand
Can't be arsed reading through all these post so skip to the end.I've been watching Firefly the last few days, forgot how good it is!! Some really great dark moments in it.Also dug out Spaced the other day...
Le Stu
I've also started watching Firefly. So far so good, but I can tell that the moment that dialogue falls on the wrong side of witty it's just going to annoy the piss out of me. Really like the western feel it has. What you will find is disappointment when there are no more. There is the movie, but its just not enough and some of the characters that are killed off... well it's disappointing.

It's kind of the antithesis to Star-Trek in that regard.

RossP
Anyone watching Sons of Anarchy on Bravo?Someone told me it was written (produced?) by the same folk that did the Wire, so i'm giving it a go. Two episodes in and i'm liking it All about a biker gang in California, with Ron Pearlman as the 'leader'. Pretty cool stuff...

RossP
Have decided to watch an episode or two of Band of Brothers each night, until the Wire is back on. 1st episode tonight, and i've just realised Simon Pegg is in it! Band of Brothers has to be in my top 3 TV Shows ever. I cried like a bairn the first time I saw the last few episodes...

DJ Jo-D
Started watching Mental, which is ok only watched 3 ep's but quite liken it so far (whistler form Prison break is lead character working as a director in a mental home using whacky techniques to help the patients etc)
Afro Droid
Currently getting through Neon Genesis Evangelion - it's ace. Too lazy to watch it with subtitles, though I'm informed it's much better in the original Japanese.

Pierre Von Mondragon
As far as Conchords goes, Murrays reaction to the possibility of half Aussie half Kiwi children ("doomed to wander from city to city in search of the perfect wave") was easily the funniest thing I have encountered this year to date, his delivery is immaculate.
