Fast Caz
All Kreator albums are underrated !PLEASURE TO KILL!!!!!there is many thrash bands from back in the day that should be as popular say slayer and metallica. Then again alot fo the bands back then are still in the underground which is actually for the best and the fans are very loyal and dedicated aswell. I LOVED Galaxie 500 (saw them twice). One of my biggest thrills was singing onstage in Boston with Damon Krukowski, and being on an album with Damon & Naomi. Guest Scorge Spike
'Hats' by The Blue Nile.I'm not actually going to bother with a top ten, I'd rather focus all my typing energy on preaching just how horribly overlooked this album is, as indeed is this band's entire output. Do yourself and favour and go and get it in Fopp* for a fiver, go home to a darkened room, pour a glass of wine, and marvel**. I promise not to say 'I told you so'. (*Not just available in Fopp of course, but that's probably where it's cheapest.)(**Does not apply to the handful of people who do have it.) Swingin' Ryan
40 OZ to Freedom by Sublime is hugely underated. Infact the entire band is looked over just because people assume that because they have a "ska-punk" sound on some songs that they sound like Less Than Jake or some other nonsense. They are so much more however, they do Reggae,Dub,Dancehall,Rock and Roll,Punk..... and Bradley Nowell can play the guitar like nobody's business.Oh....and further to previous comments, Generation Terrorists is the most underated (and best) Manics album in my opinion. kirkt
looking through my collection today i noticed a couple more..."The Menace" By Elastica, "Second Coming" by Stone Roses (both long awaited follow up albums were the bands just suprised everyone but people were scared to accept the change) and Janes Addictions's self tittled debut is classic...I prefer it to "Ritual.." Swingin' Ryan
Originally posted by Aaron Gilman:i'd agree with that apart from jake being nonsense-they play good time music That's actually true. My previous post was unfair on them. They might not be musically fantastic, but in a world that's full of horrible, sad, depressing and dull "Emo", it's good to know people are still making fun music.
