yeh thats right dude. basically the new york dolls started it all. they basically are 1 of the founders of. then bands just followed such as faster pussycat, vain and all the other bands that look like girls etc.which eventually ended up sounding like later gnr/poison etc. Vain are really cool. i seen them in an early interview when they were jus starting up, they looked like they were headin straight for burger king/mcdonalds, they looked like the type of band that as soon as grunge hit music, they would die their hair blonde and move to seattle.But of course they didn't. they just became unknown instead. lol

Hey everyone, im starting up a band, i'm a vocalist(with some experience) iv got a chris robinson style voice. i want a band that look like aerosmith, but sound like the black crowes.guys aged between 17-22.The right look is essential, must look cool.(not askin much) Bassist required drummer required rythem guitarist required maybe keyboard player(if your good) female backing singers(if your hot!!)

Hey, i am a guitarist, just left a band. iv got plenty of gigging experiece, good equipment, and have been playin for about 7 years.i would need more info(is it lead, rythem?, how manys in the band)etc before i thought about auditioning. any gigs coming up etc? cheers, kris

Whatever happens in this thread, not everyone will agree on who is the lamest band of the year.(now thats over with) good charlotte,blink 182, lost prophets,all pop, sean paul,pretty much everyone apart from the darkness can fuck right off, all bands are shite this year and have been, since nirvana destroyed rock.
