Panda Strong
I was reallllly disappointed with the JF album. Salt Pepper and Spinderella is tots rad, and there are a few others that i like to bop my head too....but overall, hmmm. I find it waaaay over produced a lot of the time (what do others think of the production?), which has led them to kinda ruining the songs taken from the E.P :\
stuartmaxwell
i think the production really works for them. I see JF as a indie pop band, and for me its rough around the edges to add that "madcap" vibe yet still polished enough to bring out the "pop" element of themsome of the newly added backing vocals/deliveries are a bit suspect though
Huw
johnny foreigner - waited up til it was lightenvy - all the footprints you've ever left and the fear expecting aheadthat envy album is great. see the 'fast' screemo kind of bits though, they always seem a wee bit out of time to me, i do think it's on purpose though. Left Hand is a great song. I still havn't decided between this and dead sinking story.i can listen to that johnny foreigner album (which i have had a 'lend' of) a lot and have a good sing a long, but it doesn't seem to stick with me. i really like the first tune about the ship or something... the outro is well written. KarmaTsunami
well, the Los Campesinos! album is probably one of my favourites of the year, so i was recommended that Johnny Foreigner lot, and I like it a whole bunch, production and everything! Very singable along too.

Panda Strong
The Los Camp album urinates HARD all over the JF record! I think i read that they have their new album out this October. 'We are Beautiful, We Are Doomed'. Srsly can't wait. If only they'd play Aberdeen

KarmaTsunami
It's lovely. I was fawning over the packaging at the breakfast table. But the album itself....I wish I could sprout arms so I'd have some extra thumbs to stick up just to emphasise how much I am loving it.
