Guest
But fuck, 2008 was actually an immense year for music - it was hard to keep up and maintain an interest in sourcing older stuff.Definetely. I've spent a small fortune over the last 12 months on 2008 releases alone ignoring what I've spent on anything else. I'd actually hate to know what I've spent on music this year. Guest
Arrived in the post today:Dirty Projectors - Rise above (currently listening to it, I'm pretty chuffed with it so far)Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever GoFuck Buttons - Street HorrrsingDigitalism - Idealism (Already had a listen, it's ace!)I cancelled my order for the Laura Marling album as amazon decided it wouldn't be dispatching it until February (despite it being in stock wtf!) and I also cancelled my order for the Frightened Rabbit album as I gave them a week to actually commit to when they'd bother their asses to send it out (again, it's apparently in stock) and they aren't telling me anything so I'll just buy it elsewhere. Bah. I was particularly looking forward to the Laura Marling album too

Rusty Deathnail
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As OneI adore this album. Sugarcube is one of their most kicking tunes and Damage is a quiet treasure of a song. Got a lot of strong memories associated with this album. The Cure's 4:13 is, for the most part, really enjoyable too.
