Alan Cynic
I'll bet the main reason you like them is the (admittedly quality) pun of a name. The name does appeal to my immature sense of humour, but I liked Sid Griffin in the Long Ryders, too. (He once dedicated a cover of Muswell Hillbillies to me because I was sitting at the fornt wearing a Kinks T-shirt I'd screenprinted.).Like KarmaTsunami, I've been having a Steve Reich frenzy courtesy of the library:up:

Guest bluesxman
Absolute stinker, ahoy.I have to agree, cant see it receiving many return visits, if any. Even though most of their albums are patchy they at least have enough good tunes to redeem them, this one is actually pretty painful to listen to. V. disappointing.
