  1. I wonder how this many people will fit into Cellar 35? I suggest fitting a black hole in the centre of the room... Visit new worlds and discover the joys of spaghettification during down times!
  2. Good to see a comprehensive look at this, instead of just citing Napalm Death as the originators. While fear of god were great, Dave Phillips has since became an awesome solo artist. Possibly one of the most interesting 'noise' artists kicking about at the moment. YouTube - dave phillips live at LUFF 2008
  3. Fair enough, but still - It's nice to dream once n a while that travelling isn't necessary to hear these sounds live.
  4. Yes. She's great. Get Inca Ore as well. Oh and Lemon Bear. Family times!
  5. Serial Mom Mondo Trasho Pink Flamingos (I blame film four for this binge)
  6. Who's been fucking with the voodoo rituals again?
  7. That's a shame, it is/was a very nice venue, and coffee shop. I hope i can rustle up some cash to head down for this.
  8. I'll chuck this lot into the circle - Suspiria. Opera. Eraserhead. Dumplings. Peeping Tom. Re-Animator Shivers In My Skin A couple of these push the idea of classical horror, but they're fairly fun/disturbing none the less.
  9. Second hand C.D. shopping is great! As is charity shop rummaging. Found some bizarre curiosities within these shops.
  10. Glad you enjoyed it dude! I'm in the process of looking up other projects from Britain to see if they are up for playing up here and bringing a bit of strangeness to our small city. Keep em peeled!
  11. Must have been a communication through the ether, as I have no idea what that thing is! It's wonderful though! Jake - I've trashed a few phones since I got your communication line, so probably didn't get your text, but one will be saved. Get in touch for wheelings and dealings ect.
  12. Cheers David! All orders shipped today! Keep eyes and minds peeled for zoned out packages in the post!
  13. New Spectral Fairground cd-r Hand Painted Sleaves, edition of 25, made to order after 25 are gone. Containing 4 tracks of vocal slurp, organ tones and haywire electronics. 3, but trades for interesting sounds also welcome!!! Paypal/email - Spectralfairground@hotmail.co.uk Myspace for sounds - MySpace.com - Spectral Fairground - UK - Visual / Trance / Psychedelic - www.myspace.com/spectralfairground
  14. Aberdeen is painful at night to watch when sober. Recently saw a guy carrying a small crow towards the Holburn end of town. Probably was too lazy to queue up for a kebab, so decided to make a crow pie at home. Never had any problems with George Street, no matter what state Im in.
  15. This lot were alright. The MBV type stuff was fine, the rest was dull and fairly lifeless.
  16. Wondeful! More lovely out-sounds to calm the cogs!
  17. Baby Dee is wonderful. Now... please book Current 93 at some point? (I realise this is highly unlikely, but I can dream of black ships)
  18. Blood Stereo + Ludo Mich "From Throats and Tapes" LP Skullflower "Pure Imperial Reform" CD Jaap Blonk & Dylan Nyoukis "Dubbletwee" LP Schlup tastic!
  19. Stop slopping your digital finger tongue about, and start a night up that caters for this stuff. Plenty of people are into these sounds. Then people may come and dance like they're sellin' nails...
  20. This looks great.. Although the date at the top is chronolgicaly off, what with the 2nd being in the past, and not a sunday. Perhaps we need time machines to get to these gigs these days.. I like that idea.
  21. The idea of unique venues has always been a great one to me, i'd love to see more of them. The band Serfs did a set at Victoria Baths some time ago, got a recording of it, and it sounds wonderful for drone/sparse folk ramblings. It'd be amazing to see some bands play the Bon Accord Baths (for setting, as well as sound).
