Missed the other two acts due to organisational nightmare. S.o.t.l. were the sound of an intergalactic space womb, comforting, yet glacial. Good show indeed.
Good band. I'd rather them continue with the total sci-fi synth abuse into infitum - compared to the old Man Is the Bastard rips... they still need to go further though, much, much further into total alien soundscapes! Signing out! Alien Command!
Well, if we're going to be playing it like that - games are fun'n'all. I think they're a band that I happen to like, and further investigation proved this to be the case... Yes?
I'm glad someone else thought this! They were pretty good. The Markers were great in my eyes - but that's the kind of stuff I dig. Pity I missed the Kitchen Cynics - generaly really enjoy Alan's sets...
Great night, thoughly enjoyed all the acts. SumiSumi being the standout performance after Whitehouse. However, my ears are still pretty fucked. I think that was the point, I thought the stage antics were amazing - totaly surreal stage performance.
Shame, I was hoping to hold a competition for the most eel like wriggle of the night! Prizes including a ltd. edition lathe - made from german trees and human hair! By the way, this is going to be great!
FRESH OFF THE PRESS!!! Could a mod please add to relevant dates/times/costs and posters to this please? Also, while I'm at it! Videos of the acts:
(couldn't find any of Andy, or Mickel Mass... but i'm sure most will have a fair idea of what not to expect.)
Just to keep everyone in the loop!!! Line up now: Whitehouse - Seminal Harsh Electronics outfit - possibly last tour ever!!! KMVSNI - Head to head noise murk from Kovorox (Kylie Minoise) and Sick Head (Nackt Insecten) godfathers!!! SUMISUMI - EX (???) Mickel Mass member Andy Smith - Expect the unexpected!!! Asahara - Harsh Sound Lunacy!!! Sheet metal Abuse!!! FUN? Doors - 8pm as stated Door Tax - 6 FLYERS SOON!!!
Apparantly one of the bands have pulled out of this. Can one of the G.T.S. guys confirm which one? Anyway replacing said support will be: Asahara MySpace.com - Asahara - Aberdeen, UK - Experimental / Other / Concrete - www.myspace.com/asaharasound Let's make this a good one!
This software looks awesome... I don't even bones up software - but the textural variables which are available to sound scape based individuals is awesome!!! It's silly how much time you could take fucking around with the tones with this program...
Oh, what the hell? That looks like an awesome line up all-ready - I hope I have money/time to go to this. Justice Yeldman is meant to be top live! Although, just hope he doesn't cut himself up too badly...
