i haven't got exams this year, it's ace (should hopefully mean my marks are a bit better as well). i agree exams are a crap way of assessing people, but maybe i'm just bitter cause i'm better at essays than exams (assuming i can hand them in on time).

i can't think of any tbh... i've mostly been playing the 360 version of gears of war (for the earlier part of 07) and battlefield 2 (pc, the last few months). crysis and COD4 look great but my pc can't run them

only player i know uses them is matthias ekhlund... definitely not just a metal player

i've actually vaguely heard of this. how did it work exactly, teaching instruments in schools i think i heard? also, if they were giving lessons for free can it not be kept going independent of the lemon tree? or do you mean that the kids didn't have to pay but tutors were still paid by the lemon tree? it's a great pity to lose something like that right enough

slightly concerning that a tiny amp is so loud... a person shouting very loud is enough to damage your ears isn't it? o_O i still use a 10w solid state thing on low volume... getting sweet valve tone at 2am sounds like more money and hassle than it's worth

i missed the support band. listened to the myspace and didn't think much of it so i didn't bother. the sound was fine in my opinion, but if i pay to see a band i expect at the very minimum to be able to hear everything properly. i disagree that throwing beer at the band and crowd is 'average'. that's literally the first gig i've been to that i've seen that happening. throwing liquids at people beside a load of electrical gear really is a stupid thing to do.
