  1. Yeah i get all my DS games from play-asia because the DS is region free. You can pick DS games 10 or 20 notes cheaper than here. I picked up the Phoenix Wright games and Trauma Centre games for 15 notes each.
  2. There is a god. My big sticking point in choosing a console was this and MGS4 coming out for the PS3 only. Glad I went with the Xbox now! Mind you I though XII was awful.
  3. I phoned up a number through the council (probably was GDens - 01224 558140) when i was between dentists and had toothache. They couldn't have been better, the next day I was told I had a appointment with the dentist in Dyce (beside the Academy) and she sorted me out. I believe they phone round the dentists and request an emergency appointment for you.
  4. Just a premium console, looking on the net I seem to have the latest version with the new Benq DVD drive which is meant to be quieter than the old Hitachi or Samsung drive.
  5. Just wondering how noisy everyone's xbox 360 gets with this game (as in disc read noise)? I've heard the game is quite intensive on the DVD drive and even though my xbox is brand new it makes a hell of a racket playing Gears of War (i'm catching up on older games before i buy GTA4). In fact it makes so much noise I actually thought it might be faulty until my mate said his is the same.
  6. QA-IQ break down what exams are needed. http://www.qa-iq.com/ContentManagement/CMContentFiles/Documents/MCSE%20Courses-Exams%20Summary.pdf
  7. Yeah that makes more sense, i'd have signed up long ago if that was the case! If you can get your employer to pay for the MCSE you're sorted as each training course on each module is a 5 day course at around a grand each! MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CIW training and other courses at Blue Screen IT The Exam Cram's are about 20 a book each on amazon, it looks like a lot of hard work but i'd rather be paying for 7 books at 20 each and 7 tests at 90 each rather than for the courses. Having been on a few microsoft ones, I can tell you that they're a snoozefest. If you're lucky maybe if you tell your employer you're paying it on your own they'll give you some study time back?
  8. Where are you seeing that? Couldn't see it on the College website. Unless they're not including the cost of the 7 exams?
  9. I'm looking at doing mine as well. I'm in an IT job but have no degree or any 'official' qualifications and even though i've got a few years experience under my belt my CV would probably be binned straight away because I don't have an MCSE listed (check the jobs pages!) on it. One guy i talked to on a course last year took a fairly novel route when his company wouldn't help him out. He went out and bought (although i'm sure they'll be on Bit Torrent somewhere) Exam Cram books (check amazon - 20 a book), read them solid for two weeks before each exam and did each test one after the other. He said it was hard going but then again each test is only 90 a go compared to sitting the course at up to or over a grand. It's always an option.
  10. As long as you can dodge a wrench...
  11. Looking forward to it but i've still got a few games to get out the way first before GTA IV takes over my life.
  12. Hog, If no one takes the whole package i'll take Assassin's Creed and Halo 3 off your hands. 20 for each game?
  13. Yeah. There must be a bloody army of them to clean up all the flyers\sick\chips\kebabs in time for shops opening.

    Superbad

I wholeheartedly concur. Really enjoyed the movie, probably the most i've laughed at the cinema in years. Some really immature stuff but at least most of the humour came through the dialogue rather than the usual gross-out teen comedies of late.
  15. Pre sale link Starts Thursday @ 9am foo fighters 32.50 a pop
  16. Saw them the last time they played Moshulu. They were pretty good - it was quite a high energy performance, the guy jumping off speakers and crowd surfing and all that good stuff, at least they were enjoying themselves. The Kooks supported them last time if I remember correctly... All in all should be an good wee gig. Who's the support this time?

  18. Classic Quote: Dr Agenbroad added: "Russia says that any mammoth remains are the property of the Russian government, but nobody really pays attention to that." That man is either very brave or very stupid!
  19. Seating Plan if anyone is interested. I'm in the middle section. Quality. http://www.aecc.co.uk/FileAccess.aspx?id=343
  20. Milky Way... I still remember the advert with the blue and red car having a race. Joy.
  21. aye aye taz. Good to hear your back in the 'fin.
  22. When are tickets out then?
  23. There were a few neds in front us who talked through the whole f*king gig. Not only that they must have recorded every bloody song on their camera phones! Why do people bother? On top of that they constantly lit up - kudos to the Rock Steady security staff that watched them happily puff away throughout the gig. To make matters worse a gaggle of 15 year old girls were behind us and screeched 'Brandon I want your babies' amid screams throughout. Pure Bliss Despite all that I thought the Killers were pretty damn good (barr the cover). First time i'd seen BRMC and I thought they were alright, a bit subdued but then I can't really understand why they're supporting the Killers. Seems a bit chalk and cheese and I wonder if they were coerced into supporting them by their record company.
