  1. Cliff Richard - lead vocals Ronald McDonald - lead guitar James Hetfield - rhythm guitar Donatello* - bass Diana Ross - drums and percussion Stevie Wonder - keyboards Also a backing choir of Dani Filth, the tooth fairy and Pee Wee Herman * yes, I know he's only got two fingers on each hand but thats all you need to be a bassist.
  2. although its only really when you have 5 or more effects that tone starts to get worse... I have an ibanez delay, boss chromatic tuner, boss chorus pedal and boss equaliser through the effects loop - and a dunlop wah in between the guitar and amp. I hardly use any of them except for the odd delay/chorus in clean bits, and equaliser for solos.
  3. Sepultura. At one point (around 1993/94 I believe) they had a very similar sounding snare drum sound. Compare "toothgrinder" by therapy? and "territory" by sepultura for proof... Um, but I would say that early Wildhearts would be a good bet.
  4. No point in getting the mode four because for the same price you can get a marshall valve amp...I have the JCM2000 and I can get a killer Killswitch Engage style tone on it. I might also add that Slayer use Marshalls as do a million other metal bands. Obviously what you really want is a Mesa/Boogie but unless you have 3 grand to spare.... 500-600 will get you a great Marshall head.
  5. My favourites were: Soilwork - Figure NUmber 5 Chimaira - The Impossibility Of Reason Thrice - The Artist In The Ambulance
  6. That was a most awesomely fun gig! Cheers y'all for coming along!

    Awesome!!!

Good on you Jimbo.... Now that album IS METAL!!!! It was one of my top 3 albums of last year. Ruckus! Oh yeah, the Cd's I have got within the last couple of weeks: Darkane - Expanding Senses Biomechanical - Eight Moons Threshold - Critical Mass Iced Earth - The Glorious Burdun Lostprophets - Start Something Lostprophets album is just amazing.
  8. I have to be honest the new stuff really just doesn't do it for me... It's not bad, I just don't think it's all that good. "So into You" Vs Inglorious (or actually anything pre 1996) no contest! However I would relish the opportunity to see them live again as they have written 5 x more awesomely classic songs as most bands could ever wish to!

Rico, go and check the PoO, Xcerts, 10EasyWishes and Gilman Street forums. Then read the "Rumours/you may have heard such and such..." style threads that I have posted. I basically did some stupid stories that have no relevance, but now this guy thinks he is funny - whicht he isn't - and he started trying to copy my unique style of humour delivery. He deserves to get a beating.
  10. I think he already has a video clip of us. (slight bit of de ja vu here Brian...)

You're a tit, now fuck off.

You're fucking rubbish. You're just basically copying what I have done in the other forums, but yours isn't even remotely funny. I found another picture of you. RomanChoke, laughing at his own pathetic humour
  13. I really like my JCM2000 at low volumes actually, I think it sounds great.
  14. Dribbles.... Awe man. My brother is going to see them in London. I really want to go...
  15. Megadeth - Paranoid (sabbath cover) Nick Menza keeps drumming at the end of the song, and Mustaine shouts, "Nick...Nick...NICK!" Metallica - Master of Puppets Kirk Hammett, during the solo, accidentally bends the string so far that it slips off the fretboard...it's hardly noticeable but they like the take and the accident so much that they kept it.
  16. So was I. Well that's three votes so far....
  17. calum, I think you should do some research. Firstly, I don't know if you were referring to In Flames and Soilwork as NWOAHM bands, but they are both from Sweden, not America. Secondly, I am assuming you have only heard material from Figure Number 5 (i.e. Rejection Role) and at a push stuff from Natural Born Chaos? Well you really should go check out "A Predators Portrait" or "Steel Bath Suicide" or even "The Chainheart Machine" - Predator is full of awesome occasionally melodic thrash - almost like Dream Theater in places due to it's technicality, whereas Steel Bath and Chainheart are basically At The Gates but done twice as well. Try and download the songs "Bastard Chain" or "Machine Gun Majesty" and tell me you think Soilwork are wank again! I promise that you will like it. Oh, and both bands have been around for around 10 years...

In fact, in the 10 seconds it took me to realise how much of a complete cripple you are, I found this picture of you: Pleased with his story, RomanChoke dribbled with excitement Now pick up your crayons and go back to breaking watches.

    you're a knob
  21. My parents live just round the corner from a place called Hatfield, and I once stayed in a hotel that was very near a place called Kirk Hammerton! How cool is that! There's bound to be a place called Newstead, and Cliff Something-or-other-that-sounds-like-burton - but I doubt anywhere would name itself after that loudmouth Danish twat Ulrich! hehehe...
  22. Are you guys playing soon? I never saw jedi live, Brian Fudge was wanting you guys (Jedi) to play a gig for them I think...
  23. what the fuck does LP63 mean?
  24. Stop it please. They didn't do songs called 'Bulls On Parade Of' or 'Sleep Now In The Fire Of' or 'Bullet In The Head Of' They also didn't do a song called 'Killing In The Name Of'
  25. Hmmm.... this is a tough one: 1. New Millennium - Dream Theater 2. My Friend Of Misery - Metallica 3. Don't need a third cos bass lines aren't very important anyway
