  2. Bryn. Dream Theater. Get a hold of the songs Glass Prison, Pull Me Under and Fatal Tragedy and you will thank me....
  3. The band didn't do it, new found power did it and he is not in the band. You fucking tosser.
  4. ONly 3 screws for me rob...put the battery in in about 2 minutes. Mouse.... see my above post Oh...but gig on saturday with atom, 106 and risac is cancelled. Fuck.
  5. yep - next gig may very well get the jackson treatment
  6. yet it's ironic that it was bentshot maxwell who was the first to make a joke about it.
  7. 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck....sounds Saweeeet! So if anyone wants to get shit like that done to their guitar, go to Neil at Prosound (holburn st) as he has done a fine job on mine. Oh yeah, I got a setup, 2 EMG's fitted, trem bridge blocked up, and new strings fitted - ALL for 198.00. WHAT A DEAL!
  8. Daddy Mac and Mac Daddy were their names I believe. A white dude and a black dude. "Daddy Mac'll make you - JUMP! JUMP!" Wasn't there a McDonalds video game for the Master System featuring them or something?
  9. Thats terrible. Welcome To The Jungle Sweet Child O' Mine Shotgun Blues Paradise City Nightrain Civil War My Michelle Mr Brownstone Get In The Ring You Could Me Mine Pretty Tied Up It's So Easy Locomotion Much Better!
  10. Is the name a pun on 'sold out'? Cos if so - I only just got it... how slow. Any gigs coming up?
  11. why were the other bands so poor? Just interested, cos I can't judge my minds weapon, I didn't catch Point but I thought quik were pretty damn good.
  12. Ha ha - years of practise my friend! Now that were a little bit more metal I'm allowed to do them
  13. cheers claire! I don't think anyone else noticed though.....
  14. I was also in the car when appease were apologising to jamesy via phone, for not being able to make it.
  15. the first two carcass albums were grind. I also thought they were pish. Descanting was more death, and Heartwork was more semi-melodic death. Swansong was just a cross between Heartwork, Countdown-era Megadeth and Corossion Of Conformity-esque groove. I still love that album though.
  16. I thought femora were decent for a first gig, can definitely only get better and had some good ideas. I thought we (MMW) gave our best performance energy-wise, but not sure how it went down with the crowd. Fucking enjoyed it though, and I think a few people who don't want to like us because of who we are may have silently liked it. I really wanted to catch PoO but was SO, SO, SO hungry and had to get food and missed them. Sorry guys but I was wasting away. Great chips from Henry J's though... Really enjoyed Quik, sound was fat as fuck and probably their best gig I have seen them play. Had a great night and spent 2pm til 11pm in Moshulu so was pretty drained.
  17. Dear mods - please don't move this thread! This thread could possibly be in the music discussion, gig and announcement, feedback, My Minds Weapon, Point Of Origin, Quik or Henry J/Moshulu forums. That is 7 forums. I reckon no one will bother looking through all of them to start or find a thread about this. So for the benefit of everyone, if this could please bend the rules a little and stay here that would be lovely. Anyway, for the benefit of all the bands or people who want to tell us whether they liked it or not, feel free to express here! P.S. I did look through all mentioned forums and couldn't find anything on it, except that million year old Retract The Thorn 2 thread

  20. Ned's Atomic Dustbin had two bass players Brujeria have three bass players Immortal Wombat (Black Atom covers band) - would have had three bass players but one pulled out so they were left with a mere pummelling 2...oh and four guitarists and three drummers as well as two vocalists and a flutist/saxophonist!
