  1. Rest assured that it will happen and when it does, you guys will understand why we've been away for so long. I can't promise that it'll ever get played live, but it'll stand as a significant addition to our catalogue. I'm incredibly proud of everything we've done in the last decade. The guys have always supported my departures into the realms of mental and our swansong is, as far as I'm concerned, the pinnacle of my songwriting career so far. If all goes well in the studio, it'll be a fitting conclusion to this chapter in the life of Black Atom.
  2. Nice to know your comments were genuine, young Steven. Breaks my heart to see an Atomite turn heel against his mentor........ As for next gig.......don't ask me, I'm just the drummer. Don't ask Dan either. He's just in the band because he's gorgeous and doesn't have a gag reflex.....
  3. I pretty sure it's an 0800 number that costs about 1.50 a minute......I mean, happy birthday mate! See you later this evening! I have a card and everything!
  4. Best description........of anything........ever!
  5. News to me but whoooooooooooooooooopppppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I'm just curious and it's always handy to be one step ahead of the game... Any ideas?
  7. I remembered, but I remembered to soon......then forgot! Hope you're day was filled with metal hugs and kisses, see you soooon!
  8. Sign of the Cross....my first taste of epic, proggy Maiden! On the other side of the coin, Wasting Love blows, especially on A Real Live/Dead One when the bends aren't.....quite......in tune
  9. That sounds like a challenge, Master Goldsworthy....
  10. I saw the big man in person today and I say his new do rocks and strangely, it really suits him. Best believe that Joe will be bringing the carnage to a venue near you soon, HAIR OR NO HAIR...
  11. Thank you all for coming down last night! It was an immense occasion and I'm sure I speak for the rest of the guys when I say that we owe it all to our beloved Atomites! I think we all went through the full range of emotions before, during and after the gig but most of all, it makes me feel very proud of the band and our fans. You're the greatest! See you all soon!
  12. Shaggy medleys (that never happened) aside, I like to do Overture, Hell's Kitchen or something off Damnation by Opeth, Windowpane maybe? If we ever cover Overture or Hell's Kitchen, I want Gareth Gu on vocals. Songs I would rather never hear or play include anything on Disc One of The Glorious Burden or Loch Ness, on Judas Priest's new album (thanks for the tip - off, Joe!)
  13. Cheers for the messages, jeers to my goof of a brother for getting my birthday wrong! See you all soon!
