  1. Stay at home and shoot your neighbours
  2. False. TPBM engages in lascivious conduct down the harbour.
  3. Thank you for making the point I was about to make.
  4. I stand by the SFA's 'Ower my deid body' stance but at the same time it disnae bither me. The only concern I have with it is, should it get green lit, if Olympic Gold was won then there's a high possibility of Great Britain being spelt E-N-G-L-A-N-D by the press and pundits alike. It would be another achievement to follow in 1966's vast shadow.
  5. That's a matter of personal taste and opinion. THE worst film ever is Love, Honour and Obey.
  6. I agree. From Dusk 'til Dawn he played the part of Ritchie quite well. Not forgetting his appearance in Pulp Fiction. Another qulaity Tarantino role can bee seen in the final sequence of Four Rooms starring Tim Roth as the film's only recurring character. Trantino wrote, directed and starred in this segment entitled The Man From Holywood which was an homage to a Hitchcock TV short. I took my father in to see Death Proof. We both agreed it was good but not his best.
  7. I highly recommend East Aberdeen. Ellon, Westhill and Portlethen are also good considerations.

  9. Whatever you can get, Jeff. As long as it goes to a happy home!
  10. I was reluctant to buy this when it first came out, but bowing to some peer pressure I caved in and was pleasantly surprised. Begging You and Love Spreads stand out as my favourites. Next thread: Napalm's Harmony Corruption and Morrissey's Southpaw Grammar... (They're in a similar vain...)
  11. Don't think there's been a Mogwai thread for a while... and I can't believe it's almost a year since I saw them play the Albert Hall. So on Thursday, London here I come to see them at Somerset House for Vodafone Live. Once again, the anticipation is kiling me. So, for all the 'Gwai fans here what's your stand out track and favourite album? For me it has to be Xmas Steps track-wise and Happy Songs For Happy People album-wise. Admittedly, HSFHP did take a while for me to get in to but nowadays it's an album I constantly crave to listen to.
  12. Yippee- ky-ay motherfucker indeed!! Saw this with my father on Saturday, what a film! Favourite line: 'You killed that helicopter with the car'. 'Yeah. I ran out of bullets.'
  13. All the best for Friday night you guys. Can't make it this Friday - you know why. Hope it's a success and will attend the August one.
  14. I stayed at The Stanford Hotel when I was in NYC. http:///www.hotelstanford.com Reasonably priced and very comfortable. The Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden are a kick in the ass away.
  15. I know what you mean. Anyway, to brighten everybody's day... Bring Me Sunshine
  16. To be fair it's the sales team of one organisation in particular that's making me tar Dutch people with the same brush. I humbly apologise for any offence caused. Can we get back to abortion please?
  17. You don't deal with the Dutch people I have to. Trust me these guys are cunts.
  18. You mean sandals. Unless he was Dutch, in which case he is a cunt
  19. PM me. I'll part company with hard earned pennies for them.
  20. Food-wise it's bread soaked in whisked eggs and gently fried. Bad-wise I hinnae a scooby.

    Your current read?

Currently reading Mr Timothy by Louis Bayard. A word for the wise - don't read The Court Of The Air by Stephen Hunt. It's crap.
  22. I'm like that as well. Months go by without a nod in Fugazi's direction and then all of a sudden I crave to listen to something angular. Solution? Fugazi. My favourite Fugazi album fluctuates between Kill Taker, Red Medicine and Diet. Favourite Songs Ex-Spectator, Facet Squared,Target and Last Chance For A Slow Dance. Waiting Room goes without saying as does Margin Walker and Glue Man. The Lemon Tree Gig, as Peep said, was a special day for Aberdeen. I too was there with Jeff (Get Lost), his grandfather and the usual suspects. Them opening with Facet Squared was an indicator that it was going to be a memorable show. Joe Lally's solo album hasn't been listened to for a while, but at the time I bought it I couldn't get enough. Might just chuck it on tonight while I'm cooking my tea. Marillion? *cough* I own Incommunicado on 7" single. I quite like it...
  23. Q: Why did Charlie have a multi-coloured cock? A: Because he dipped it in Di on occasion.
  24. Hud on to them. I'll buy them when I'm back from London next weekend.
