The Scissor Sisters album was my best for this year, followed closely by Le Reno Amps.

they've actually done a pretty good job. they haven't made the songs poppy and they haven't done any hollywoodisations of it. i really enjoyed it. nice to be able to watch the show without having to fork out a shitload of cash to go to london and see it in the west end.

as much as i like nader's views on women's issues and homosexuality, i do feel that in such a close race determining whether or not bush gets back into power, we should be rallying round the guy who's most likely to do beat bush and that's kerry. the simple fact is that nader will never be president because his economic policies alienate too many americans but you gotta respect the guy for his persistence.
