Don't know of hostels in Munich, but it's a *superb* city. Responsible for me starting drinking it was. And you get your beer in proper, clinky-together, "Prost" steins. We kept asking in Berlin, and nowhere had them. Several Berliners also either 1) denied that Bavaria was part of Germany or 2) denied that Munich actually existed (which made me wonder where I'd spent that collective 4 weeks of my life, but there you go...).

My belief is based on the fact that Livingston are improving, Dundee I think'll manage to find a way clear of the bottom three once the split comes, and that only leaves Dundee United, who I reckon have a stronger squad than the Pars. Could be a few very interesting 6 pointers after the split.

Only one thing to say...YYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Get that right up you Celtic! I'm becoming increasingly convinced that Dunfermline are for the drop.

Derek Ferguson, older brother of Barry played for the mighty JTs in the 90s. Not my team, but John Sutton's playing (badly by all accounts) for Dundee at the moment.

And the mighty JTs are still lurking ominously back in 5th... Given that there's a very real possibility that 4th place could be a European spot, the run in could be very interesting indeed (which makes a pleasant change).

Funnily enough, ordinarily I find car adverts to be some of the most disgusting wastes of tv time that could be better spent getting rid of the United States government, but two of my most favourite have turned up in the last couple of months: 1) The Golf advert with Singing in the Rain. I guarantee it'd annoy the piss out of me if I'd seen it more than a couple of times, but for now it's great; and 2) The Citroen C4 advert. It has a car as a Transformer - bonus points = 10. It also has Les Rhythmes Digitales - Jacques Your Body (Make Me Sweat), one of the best songs of my lifetime as a soundtrack - bonus points = 8 million. Top Marks. (obvious pun avoided).

This is a man who YOU CAN'T DO A FUCKING THING TO STOP. Wherever you turn he's going to be there eating your babies, pissing in your beer and cutting the bowels out of your grandparents for money. The United States' voting system is their own, you can't influence it, they're going to fuck you rigidly sideways, get used to it.

Well all my favourite films are American, so to stick rigidly to the idea of the thread, then I'd have to say America. On the otherhand, probably my favourite film of the last couple of years would be Goodbye Lenin.

I thought Jimmy just signed up all his old Dunfermline team by the back door (as it were) anyway? Surely he doesn't need 250,000 for such lofty ambitions?

Haven't seen anyone say anything about it on here yet, so what are opinions on Nathan Barley? I wasn't convinced after the first episode, but it's been getting steadily better each week (although the highlight so far has to be Nathan's "rapping" the episode before last).

I was disappointed to be honest. Not anywhere near as good as Rushmore or Tenenbaums (although better than Bottle Rocket, which is shit).
