    Wow...

Oh right, didn't realise it was MY fault.
  2. Belated wishes! But I saw you anyway so it's all good
  3. Thanks everyone! A fun time had by all
  4. My brother was in a band called Skinless Creature... I remember seeing them play with Clocker at Drummonds and The Dawntreaders at the Lemon Tree... a long time ago! Back in the days when Captain Toms was still in Dee Street. Ah, great days, great days.
  5. Most Metal of Metal, Best Fudge performance and Best Live Band at this years Fudge awards. Judging by the amount of people not clapping I'm guessing we are just TOO metal (or not shouty enough) for most of the scenesters, but let's face it, if you think you're too cool to be seen applauding widdly solos, beasting harmonies, uplifting choruses and all out metal shenanigans, then we don't want to talk to you anyway \/ And hardy-har, we won more awards than you 8) Seriously though, thanks to all who did show their appreciation, it's you people and the people who vote who we really, really want to thank, I say it a lot but it's the fans that make this band so popular, not us, we just do what we do and if people like it then hooray! You rock. I'm expecting the backlash next year when some young band comes along and blows us away making us look like a bunch of old men in the process...
  6. Everyone said that in 2002 when they were announced for Leeds Festival, then they turned up and smoked all the other bands at the festival.
  7. Ahem. http://www.metallica.com/index.asp?item=14828
  8. Not long enough. Especially when your songs average at least 6 minutes. But really I'd say it depends what sort of music you're playing, and how long your songs are. For example, if you're a punk band with 2 and a half minute songs then half an hour is probably enough, whereas if you're a prog rock band you would want to play a bit longer in order to play more than 2 songs. Cue lots of hilarious people saying that if you're a prog rock band you shouldn't be given any time at all. Well, don't bother because I'm laughing already. hohoho.
  9. Happy... shit, missed it! Hope it didn't suck too hard. There's a special present waiting in your inbox for you
  10. I knew you were taking the piss... I laughed at the way you crowbarred a little sexism into our local paper
  11. Aye, twas Thursday's indeed. I only normally buy it on Tuesdays when I'm at work, but I was glad I did on Thursday when I saw Dan's beaming face staring out of the paper at me
  12. Aye, I saw it as I perused my Evening Express, much to my surprise. I cut it out
  13. I like them all. In this order: South Park Family Guy Futurama American Dad The Simpsons King of the Hill
  14. Well, as gigs go that was a superb amount of fun, certainly from my point of view. I enjoyed that more than any gig for months! Felt like we played a bit better than usual too... a few mistakes, but fuck, it's live music and that's what it's all about 8) Thanks to all who came down for it, like I always say it's the crowd that really makes a gig, and they were well into it. And dressing up was fun too And it's always a total pleasure to play with FeSTR. Always.
  15. Some brilliant photos there! Thanks very much I look superimposed in that one you posted!
  16. This is the truth. Notre Dame really is pretty incredible... The Catholics do the best buildings in the world And I think Paris is probably my favourite city too... it's fantastic. If you have a spare day then go to the Louvre. Some amazing stuff in there... but if you don't have much time then don't bother. There is so much stuff to see that if you've only got a few hours you won't see enough of it and you'll be annoyed because there is so much stuff you had to miss out. And the Musee D'Orsay is also amazing if you're into paintings at all, lots of Van Goghs, Monets, Pissaros and the like.
  17. Happy birthday oh ye of the previously but now not so secret hair
  18. Hope you had an ace day you comedy legend
  19. I remember when I had hair...
  20. I really like Good as I Been to You from the 90's. The songs are all covers of traditional songs, and his voice is shot to fuck, but for some reason I just really like the overall vibe. Especially the song Blackjack Davey, it's brilliant
