I got it the day it came out... I quite like it, but unlike you I really really enjoyed 'The Eyes of Alice Cooper' and this one in my opinion doesn't match the high standard set by that album... Also, I wasn't particularly keen on 'Brutal Planet' or 'Dragontown'. However I did see him on both those tours and verily he did rocketh

Very difficult to try and pick my one favourite Maiden song... if I had to survive with only three I'd pick Phantom of the Opera, Alexander the Great and Sign of the Cross

I do know people who swear by 4X and won't burn any faster.

It's true though, there is... I have had this problem with cds burnt at 52X that would only work in certain players (only once, because since then I have burnt a lot slower). I consider 8X to be pretty much safe, and sometimes burn faster (up to 24X for audio). Data seems to be fine whatever speed you burn at. That's just my experience, my advice would be to buy a decent cd player (preferably a standalone stacking system)

Hillage is the man. 'L' is an absolutely fanastic album. Funny in a bizarre kind of a way, but ace. He had some insanely ace and tripped out ideas. He is some guitarist! If you can get hold of the live album he did for some BBC thing then do, his band prove themselves to be utterly immense too

Don't forget the Irish I'm looking forward to Reading, just packing at the moment.
