  1. I bought the Balls to Picasso remaster yesterday mainly for the bonus disc, which has a song called the Breeding House on it which rocketh mine sockeths. I also bought the first Skid Row album
  2. OMG Not my brother Daniel Johnston? Oh, NOT my brother Daniel Johnston. Boo.
  3. I prefer the lyrics to Horsemen. But I like the speed of Mechanix. I'd still go for Horsemen overall. And I have to say that Megadeth now hold more interest for me than Metallica... I never thought I'd see the day!
  4. It took a bit of getting into for me... I'm really really digging Kill Devil Hill, River of No Return, Power of the Sun and the title track. But Navigate the Seas of the Sun is a big waste of time for me which just seems to repeat itself forever and ever without actually reaching any interesting bit. I don't think I like it as much as the last two Bruce albums, but it's still very enjoyable.
  5. Nice one Bob, you uber-legend!
  6. Happy birthday dude, don't overdo it as your body is probably now too old to deal with it... we're not as young as we used to be
  7. A beast of a tune... Lemmy helped write it too
  8. And how do they sound all played at once?
  9. Hog, did you sabotage the other two bands just so you'd get to play with us? I'm flattered...
  10. A street team would be sweet! We really need to get our gig at Moshulu on the 3rd of July well-promoted, it's important that there's a good turnout as it should hopefully be a hell of a night, so maybe we can get some of you involved there. I have no idea what being in a street team involves though, info would be greatly appreciated, as would any ideas on how to get some good promotion. Thanks for the interest dudes.
  11. Yes, the website does appear to be down at the moment. But we will sort it out as soon as possible, and there will be some serious updatage soon, even if I have to do it myself. Once my exam on Monday is over I intend to have a search through my massive archive of minidiscs and get some decent MP3s up there... Possibly including some of our set from the Me FM radio broadcast (there's a good version of 'Down' if I remember correctly) and if anyone knows about anything converting videos onto a computer that'd be cool as there's plenty of interesting live shit we have on video too.
  12. *Plots Erskine's imminent and bloody demise*
  13. Where do you work? Is it really worth it? Looks like I can't afford it, I have other holidays lined up, including Maiden at Reading, yay!
  14. No, Georgia is Gelis' sister (and my girlfriend). Emma is my brother Dan's girlfriend, technically she is her little brother Stephen's sister. Hope that clears up your evident confusion.
  15. I haven't seen them, but strangely enough their drummer was our first drummer a long long time ago...
  16. Mine broke, I think I gave it away to someone a while ago after a gig... can't remember who though. Time for another visit to Toy Bazaar
  17. Apparently so... that would have excited me if I hadn't only just heard of them for the first time today Their first 2 albums are up for free download on their official site... generous people
  18. Heathen - Set me Free Wow! Proper thrash!!
  19. Personally? I was happy when we finally dropped it a year or so ago. But when we brought it back into the set for the moshulu covers affair, I enjoyed playing it again, particularly because Mac figured out a bunch more ace guitar parts which really make it more interesting. Plus the heavy bit we added in the middle is cool, when it kicks into the groove it's the heaviest bit of the set. So at the moment I'm enjoying it, but I wouldn't expect to hear it at every gig...
