Most people have one song which, when they listen to, sends shivers up their spine.

Usually for a specific reason - for instance it reminds them of a person or a particular time in their life..

anyone care to share theirs?

One of mine, bizarelly enough, is "Don't stop believing" by american AOR "giants" Journey - it's not an outstanding song, it has rubbish lyrics eg:

"A singer in a smokey room, a smell of wine and cheap perfume"

and

"some you win, and some you lose, some are born to sing the blues"

But every time I hear it, it reminds me of 2 seperate times and locations.

1) A venture scout bothy camp near Ballater

2) A venue in Lingfield (south of London), called "Rockits" (it was a squash club), where my old band played quite a few times - between the soundcheck and the gig, "Don't stop believing" was on a compilation tape

So despite it's dodgy lyrics, It's got a firm place in my heart

Regards

Flossie

For me, it varies from month to month. At the moment, that song would be "Your Hand Is On Your Rod" by Rupture, purely because it's a fucking amazing song but doesn't remind me of anything.

You smash plates off the walls and begin crying?

not really...i know its a predictible reason for why that album but i kinda bought it at the time of seperation...

also brand new-deja entendu especially "I Beleive you But My Tommy Gun Don't" makes me think of the corruption in todays world and leaves me feeling somewhat apathetic.
