The boy's as daft as a brush. Pretty dodgy player at times, but then he does something ace like that. I have a love/hate relationship with Taylor, his fake tan, his artificially-whitened teeth and his perfectly rehearsed and coordinated goal celebration.

Good to see that Luis Suarez has returned to the form of 2011. How many chances did he have yesterday? 6? 23? 560? Arsehole.

I was also surprised to see that Gabriel Obertan is still really bad, despite being twice the size he was when he left United. Seriously. That guy got buff. He used to like like a 5ft11 Peter Crouch, with bones sticking out of his skin. Now he's ripped. Has he been in prison?

Still though, what a shithouse. Apart from that flip-flap he did against Wolfsburg where he made two defenders look like cones by just dancing through them both, I've not seen him do anything good.

Pardew shoving the linesman was pretty great. Getting aggro over a throw in on the first game of the season. Awesome.

Cazorla looked a class above everyone today. Gervinho was really good as well actually!

Agreed. Gervinho showed glimpses last season of what he's capable of - he's pretty great on the ball actually. If only he could find a finish now and again. Arsenal are gonna be just fine this season, dunno what the fuss is all about.

Garry Neville has become such a good pundit. He just ran down the games from the weekend and basically gave you everything MOTD don't. He actually analysed how the games went and not just roll out the generic opinions from the papers "Arsenal trying to walk it into the net", "Torres doesn't look the same player these days", "lets see how he does on a cold night at Stoke".

BBC really need to replace the usual suspects on MOTD, they've even lost their best pundit Lee Dixon to ITV now.

Neville did just trot out a line about Kagawa having never "experienced this kind of atmosphere" though. Aye Gary, it's not like he played in front of 80,000 in Dortmund every week.

I agree with him being a good pundit but he's an awful co-commentator.
