girl anachronism
If you like the new one there's not really any reason why you wouldn't like the second. And yet, I don't. I'm okay with it though.
FOX
And yet, I don't. I'm okay with it though.I got the second Horrors album. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.Not a single decent song on Primary Colours. Not really listened to Skying though.Disclaimer: I quite liked their EP and their first album, but I put that down to a phase.
girl anachronism
I didn't buy it, it didn't do anything for me, didn't quite offend me as much as the first though. Wasn't going to bother with Skying, glad I did though.

Soda Jerk
Fuck sake. Shield Your Eyes have ANOTHER album out. They churn records out quicker than anyone, and the songs are hideously complex, and their records are fucking boss. This new one is no different. What a bloody brilliant band. So, that's probably another one to add to my 2011 smash hits.

Mr Owl PhD
A late entry to my list, and possibly my album of the year is 'Tragedy' by Julia Holter. Absolutely brilliant record. Happily she has another album due in a few months time.

Shaki
OK, I just got El Camino by The Black Keys and I think it is wonderful, currently 6 songs in... Also got Fountains of Wayne and Ryan Adam's 2011 offerings, perhaps they will also be good but they won't be as good as this in my ears right now.
