Tickets for PL games tend go on sale a few weeks in advance - you'll be able to get them from their website when they're on sale. I think you'll be looking at at least £60 to get a ticket for the game against Man Utd.

I can't speak for Arsenal home games, but United games sell out every week. I believe Arsenal games do too, but United season ticket holders and members get dibs. 9 times out of 10 the big games sell out before they go on general sale and there's no matchday tickets left for non-members. Perhaps browse some Arsenal forums. Members often buy tickets for games and sell them because they can't go. Might be your only shot at getting to a big game. Then again, Arsenal may not have as many season ticket holders and members as United. Maybe there'll be loads of empty seats if RvP goes due to FAN OUTRAGE!!

I've got a bunch of domains I bought a while ago and never did anything with them. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on hosting in general.

One for the guitarers:

My amp has an FX loop which I can switch on and off via my footswitch. Is it possible to use a TU-2 in the FX loop, so the only signal my amp will receive via the input is Guitar > Lead > Amp? So, if I want to use the tuner, I switch the FX Loop on, but when the FX loop is switched off, it will just be my guitar.

Is that even possible?

Just curious, as I get annoyed with guitar cables hanging around my feet. Would rather it just went behind me to the amp. Also, TU-2's aren't true bypass, so getting rid of that in the chain will give me PURE TONE or something. And also because the output on my TU-2 is sketchy, but that wouldn't matter if it was in the FX loop, because if the FX loop is switched off, then the amp will just bypass it anyway, so my tone won't cut out mid-song from my TU-2 getting a slight knock.

Or, I could just get the TU-2 fixed, but I'd still have cables under my feet, getting in the way of my punk jumps and Motley Crue kicks and stuff.

I wanted to get the old man tickets to a decent Premiership game next season, with yours truly. He’s a bit of an Arsenal fan, so I thought the Emirates might be a good shout, but I have no idea how you get tickets. Can you only buy them a couple of weeks in advance? Will it be possible to get tickets to, say, Arsenal vs Man U? Will they cost $1,000,000?

Reckon your best bet would be to sign up for the membership. Arsenal have a few different memberships, I think. They do general sale but for the likes of Man Utd you'd probably have a better chance with the membership.

Also Ticketmaster sell EPL tickets.

As for price, I'm not too sure what you'd be looking at but I went to West Ham Vs Spurs a few seasons ago and tickets were about £60 a pop. Nae cheap but worth it.

Would I not? When I switch on the FX Loop, I assumed the signal would then go through the loop. The tuner instantly mutes any signal, so by my logic the loop would essentially be incomplete as the signal would stop at the tuner. No?

It would be easier if my amp was here, but it's at my bands lockup, so I can't just try it.

I didn't think of that. That makes sense. Might still do it anyway, and just roll off the volume a bit. Me tuning is better than any possible banter I have anyway.

Yeah I imagine so. My Dad's thinking about driving up to Buffalo for a day/night so I'd get plenty Sabres shit there. Even if I don't I'll be buying a named jersey or two.

Should be going back to the States next year for a mates stagger going around a bunch of different cities catching games with Bruins, Sabres, Red Wings, Avalanche, Wild and possibly some more as well as the HHoF in Toronto. YAS!

Try the Double Down Saloon in the East Village. Midget Porn on the tellies, a drink called Ass Juice, nothing but Punk Rock on the Jukebox and everyone looks smelly.

Or, if you make it to Williamsburg, go to Trash Bar - similarly divey but they put on shows too. You get your drinks nicked if you leave them on the tables - which only adds to the dive appeal. If you haven't already planned it, make a trip to Brooklyn. Better food, better bars, better people. See all the tourist stuff in Manhattan then spend the evening in Brooklyn.

When I was in New York with my folks and sister we wanted to be really touristy and get a taxi across the bridge to Brooklyn just to walk back over and see the skyline. The taxi driver wouldn't do it because he said we'd get mugged or sonethi g. Was he just fucking with us?

Definitely fucking with you. You'd have to travel pretty far into Brooklyn to get into mugging territory. It's one of the most annoying things in new york - Taxi drivers don't want to drive to the outer boroughs and do everything they can to prevent having to. They make more money going up and down a few busy blocks in Manhattan. Legally they're supposed to take you anywhere in the city and you can report them if they don't but most of them give no fucks.
